I like Ovaltine! The malt version, but not the chocolate one. *^_^*

@OP
Almost had me fooled and I felt a pang of teary-ness for a moment at losing such a passionate DRM-free fighter and GOG-er, but thank heavens, that wasn't it!

I was thinking of donating Gaben all my money. That should help him keep Steam running.

darthspudius: um... you can use your account on multiple computers and that option has been available for years. Don't blame them because you're too dim to use it.
You can use the account, but only 1 game will run, launching 2nd game will terminate the 1st

Exactly. I can't for example play game A, while the kid plays game B. I'd have to re-buy game B on a separate account.

Unfortunately there a plenty of people like him who are adamant that Steam could never be at fault, and it does for the masses exactly what it doesn't.

To make matters worse, there is a bug which stops SFS and I guess steam in general terminating games.

But it is a bug, not intended design

Try taking every 3rd and then 4th and then back to 3rd letter and you get a different message.

mechmouse is being real tricky with us....

Isn't there a possibility on Steam to have a kind of "family sharing" thing ?
That is, kid has his own account without the game he wants to play but he is part of your family group. Your main account allows game sharing to the family group, meaning that even if you play game A the boy can play game B you share from your account. Only limitation is that you can't both play same game at same time I think.

VALVe added a family sharing system, it just like the cake is a lie.

I got that :P

I need to start using that phrase more; take advantage of being a helpless gamer.

mechmouse: I'm never going to make a difference
But that's not the point. The point is to take a stand, on principle, even if one never makes a difference. That is the right thing to do.

I have no idea why the OP is highly rated even though it is endorsing people to capitulate to the Steam DRM. That's a horrible idea, so I downvoted the OP.
