Finally! It will be probably the first "retro/clone console" which will support games not only on cartridges (like Retron 5 or Super Retro Trio), but also on discs (at this point they're planning support for Playstation, Sega/Mega CD(!) and PC-Engine/TurboGrafx-CD (have hope for Saturn's support as well).
The "module" system seems to be quite interesting (I'm genuinly surprised that they're also planning to include support for 32X on "mega-drive module"). There are plenty things which can (potentially) go wrong (especially compability with games, quality of emulation and of course price), but at this point - IMO it sounds really promising (kickstarter campaign is planned on April 2017).
