SinInvictus: You are old and wrong.
I don't want to brag with my highscore, because if i wanted that why would i ask for a reset? makes no sense.
It's not a matter of winning or finishing the game, it's just a matter of a way to experience something or to have a way to reset and repeat said experience.
Think of it this way, wouldn't you like to have a way to forget your favorite movie and to be able to see it again?

Tauto: What mike_cesara says is true,if you are careful you can find the correct file and delete.I remember doing a similar thing in an other game, what I did was copy a file to docs and work thru them until I found a solution.
You want to reset your highscores in the game so you can retry i assume ?
If so, thats kinda wierd cause all cheap games allow to reset the highscores, most of them allow to enter a new profile name and voila, your up and ready to start with zero.
If however this is not what you want, well then i don't know what the problem is.

Sure, change profile and start a new game is the easiest way.I don't have a problem, the OP does and just offering a suggestion to their's but if you want to keep the *same* profile in a game *then* you need to do some work and find the correct file that has this info.I suppose you could say doing a bit of (personal) cracking which can be interesting in itself.
And some games you can just delete said profile and start again and as I said I do not have a problem.

That is right, i have a simple game fortix 1 and 2, you have to 'colour in' to destroy it and win, i think styx was a game like that, it can have 6 or 9 profiles, i filled them all so i deleted them all and started again.

gamesfreak64: I might sound ancient and old fashioned but in the past there was no internet for the common people like it is today, so no online , no achievements, thats why i dont care for achievements or any other online 'showing of' high scores or number of levels passed in a game.
I might sound ancient and old fashioned but in the past there were arcades and we bragged about our high scores all the time.

yes, when i was a kid (8 or so) i played Pooyan Arcade: One day in the forest...... mother... help .....
but after 16 i got the problems with the motions and flashes in games, so i drastically had to change my gaming habbit.... so point and click it will be..... (no fps/3d and zoom in/zoom out/rotating stuff)
