Hmm, they're now marked as "Classic" implying that there is a difference between the new release and the old release and I'm being denied whatever updates were made just because I bought the games when Interplay owned them. Pretty sure this didn't happen for Steam owners of the games.

Smannesman: Because GOG is awful in maintaining multiple editions of games.
My copies have been renamed 'Classic' implying some actual known difference.

Funnily enough, the only "updates" that Bethsoft made to Fallout on Steam was using the HD patches made by fans.

First thing - the new Release is multilanguage. The classic english only. I don't like this.

The release here is the "Bethesda" version of the game thats on Steam. So widescreen support and such is built into it.

Calamity: I already own Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics on my GoG account. Any chance I can get Arena and Daggerfall added as well or does this only count for new purchases?

If not, I'm fine with that, it doesn't hurt to ask.
Probably not, because the old (now "Classic") versions are licensed by Interplay, who have no say over TES.

Very glad to see the return of the classic Fallout games but...

Why do we have to buy the Fallout games again while Steam customers who owned the old Fallout versions got the Bethesda "upgrades" for free?

No goodies in the new versions. Only a manual. 2 comes with a reference card, but apparently 1 doesn't even get that.
