Hello GOG!

I recently found my old Civilization: Call to Power CD and found it is sort of broken on Windows 10 (for example, some of the library entries make the game minimize and require me to click a bunch of error windows before I can finally load the entry. This, along with the game being very outdated and hilariously broken, made me decide to pick up Call to Power 2.

I found it on here and also found Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, which sadly isn't available on Steam (or at least as far as I know). Now, GOG and PayPal seem to hate each other, as PayPal will process the order, then return to the checkout with the order still unpaid.

I've tried contacting support, but they weren't much help. I don't use GOG much, but in this case I have to (Since AC isn't on Steam and CTP2 is on sale here).

Because of these issues, I ask someone on here to help me buy the games. Since my Steam seems to work fine with PayPal, I can give up to $10 worth of items in return. So, in summary

Call to Power 2 and Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri = $7.98

To which I will repay with one of the following:
1. Up to $10 worth of marketplace items on Steam
2. Any combination of games on Steam up to $10
3. Items from my inventory (varying value)

In the case of multiple items, I can give half the items before the trade and half after the trade. If interested, add me on Steam and send a message, my steam ID is naptune, although actual Steam name is different. I can't post the link here due to anti-spam measurements, if that's an issue, contact me on here directly and I can give a working link.

Thanks!

naptune: GOG and PayPal seem to hate each other,
Can't confirm this - never had problems in that regard.
Maybe I'm just a lucky bastard...?
Often PayPal will authorize a purchase but not complete it. Even on Steam I find it passes me back to the store and I click "Complete purchase" and it goes through. Are you sure you're not just one click away from finishing the task?

I make all my GOG purchases via Paypal (over 500 games so far), so no issues here either.
Steam doesn't have Alpha Centauri?

HAHAHAHAHA!!!

I'm pretty sure. I'll click the checkout button, select PayPal, will log in and it will process the order, and I'm taken back to the same screen. Clicking the pay button will just bring me back to PayPal and repeat the process.

EDIT: It appears my PayPal does not have any money in the balance (although it usually uses the bank so it works out fine most of the time. I'll see if I can add funds to it and get it to work.

GOG is registered in Cyprus for transactions, so it's possible your bank may be blocking it, as many banks in the US flag this as risky/suspicious. I'm not sure if this will affect Paypal transactions, but check with your bank on it if you can't get it to work after transferring money to your Paypal account.
