Would like the game and the book on gog.com
You should look here: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/pool_of_radiance_ruins_of_myth_drannor_1
I asked about this game before and all sorts of people popped up and said it's in a package but they couldn't link to it.Now is the bloomin' game sold here or not?
Pool Of Radiance is in Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection Two
Is Ruins Of Myth Drannor the same game?

No, it;s different and more recent:

Had this annoying habit of trying to erase windows when you deleted the game.

edit: I don't see it available anywhere digitally excerpt for abandonware sites.

To answer you directly: no, that one's not sold here, nor is it included in one of the collections.

I think that bug was patched out.
It's still not supposed to be a very good game, though.

It was I believe. I was just making light of it.

I bought it with the hint book and still never got any where within the game. Has a good sized outer area before you get into the ruins. I don't even recall ever going inside of it.

edit: Having said that, this is the one game I will not pirate and/ or download. Don;t know what version you;re getting and if it's safe or not.

Yes quite true. I have the patch lying about here somewhere, as I am lucky enough to own the boxed edition. There were other major issues with the game, for instance if you played with a party they all had to be on screen and beast could sometimes see you through walls. That being said, playing solo it was really quite fun and exciting, though bitch hard. It's one game which could (and need to phrase this right so a certain Bd group don't hear) do with some minor makeovers.
I'd like to see it on GOG for completion sake, it is probably the only major older D&D game missing now. Funnily enough I think GOG is still incorrectly using the box art from this game to represent the older Pool of Radiance on the bookshelf, which may be why some think it's the same game.

It's not a good game, I bought it on release and still have my boxed edition. I'm the only person I know that played it ALL the way through to completion upon release. It didn't erase my windows either. But it was the most boring gaming experience ever.

It was published by Ubi, though the SSI logo was still on the box at that time. Maybe it has legal issues or maybe the owner doesn't want it to ever see the light of day again.

I'd have to disagree with you. I don't think the game aged well compared to some of the other D&D titles, but I enjoyed it on release. Even did a second run through about 5-10 years ago. Solo Cleric is the way to play!
