and I bite again.

Originally you asked to remove the games. You didn't propose an improvement at all. Others made proposals how to deal with this in a way everyone can live with.

Yeah, we could put all the forum "games" there. Still, best would be hideable topics just like favourite work.

That was meant for you not for the forum games. :)

We recommend using GOG Galaxy our completely optional client, to ensure you view only relevant items.

zlaywal: Not everything should be responded with Galaxy paranoia.
If you can't distinguish satire from paranoia, you probably don't belong in this "discussion". lol

Me? Having different opinions than you doesn't make me a troll.
Btw if you want to know that is trolling , then you should read your comments here, clearly you are trolling with them.
I agree to what PaterAlf already said. Those games are not against the rules and since they aren't about specific games and people still are enjoying those (I never even clicked on one of those threads but that's just me) they should simply stay where they are. I could as well suggest for them to get a new subforum or adding an option to hide them - but then again I could also wish for a unicorn or something similar more realistic than GOG touching these forums again. The forums are broken since - I guess years now - and GOG did nothing to fix them. So if they aren't even interested in fixing what's broken I wonder how likely it would be for them to improve something that's not even broken at all.

I also had troubles to understand how people can get annoyed by needing to scroll a bit - but that's just my personal opinion. ;)

Okay, not enough. I read around 30-40 comments from you. 1, maybe 2 were useful (most likely not even on purpose) the rest was largely an attempt to get annoyed reactions (trolling). You are indeed worse than a broken clock.

What's wrong with snowflake and safespace? That is a new comic. Maybe you are too political that's your problem, not my fault.

So if you don't find them useful then what? How much % of the comments are actually useful here?
That doesn't mean it is trolling, btw by this logics every one those forum games are just full of trolls cause their comments are not useful.
Oh little personal attack me between the () that is trolling not what I do.

Updated my first post , but I cant change the title.

It took you 4 days to realize that your demand to Remove these forum "games" was overkill. Congrats.

You did not change your original post though, I appreciate that you do not try to retcon this discussion.

4 days to edit the first post, cause edits make it compromised. Changed it for you so you can feel better now.

It's not just scrolling.
I've been always sitting at 50 topics per page, but nowadays — threads with less traffic tends to get kicked to the second page in just 8hrs or less.
And this wasn't because of the number of newly created topics (50 is usually more than enough room within this time frame for GOG), but because of the increasing amount of the forum games — which had a sudden spike due to something already outlined by one of the post here.

I don't often find myself needing to dig the second page to find topics I have missed within the said amount of time, however, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

Of course, if it gets really annoying, I could just have a separate tab for the second page. All I'm saying is, it does have a noticeable impact — to me at least.

I'm not wishing those topics purged; the idea to separate or user-hide the threads seems reasonable.
