If people like to play forum games sobeit. People shouldn't be begrudged for having fun...

... but...

... it would do the forums some good IMHO to have a few more categories than simply "General Discussion." But then the GOG forums are already notoriously hard to search and navigate... probably higher priorities IMO than better sorting threads.

Agree , no need to remove these games, put them into a special category or let us hide them.

By 'bumping' you mean posting, which shows how interested people are in a thread.

I don't like categories too much in forums. Often there are too many of them and the threads that might interest you are scattered around. Maybe they should create a system where you can tag threads with your own tags as with games.

I prefer no categories at all over too many.

Also a box "ignore" besides the box "favourite" might do the trick. Ask Gog.

The easiest solution would be if the forums allowed us to hide threads in the same way we can favorite some of them. Would make everyone happy, but asking a new feature to be introduced to GOG forums is in the realm of the impossible.

Not gonna lie though, I would definitely welcome that option as the number of these perpetual forum game/spam threads seems to be constantly increasing over the years.

That's what I meant by "ignore". You hit the "ignore" box and you can only see them in your own subcategory "ignored threads". They are then hidden from the normal view.

My favorite flavor of Spam is "Hot & Spicy". I like it pan-fried with eggs for breakfast.
