While I agree that we should let people have their fun…
I don't get the deal with those too, since they follow the same post-above-you pattern.
With the exception of the 'Mafia games'. Which I think fits the forum game category.

So then if it is fun for many it should be spared? what about a cooking, hunting topics here or politics?

Politics is forbidden by the rules. Forum games and threads about cooking and hunting are not. I don't see the problem.

Well, forum trolls are also not GOG or games related yet they are still here making every thread red like the sun. What is the point of this thread?

PaterAlf: Politics is forbidden by the rules. Forum games and threads about cooking and hunting are not. I don't see the problem.
Bumping topics also are forbidden, but all I can see most of those word games just bumping them to the top.

If you don't like the way these forums operate, move somewhere else. It's not like your livelihood depends on how efficiently you can skim a gaming forums. (Or does it?)

More power to you i guess. I would like to add that i really like people playing those games here on the GOG forums. I haven't participated in any recently but it gives the forums a nice feel and they are anything but useless. Makes the GOG forums unique. Of course some of us would disagree which is ok. Everybody has a right to their own opinion, but demanding and insulting somebody, or in this case a rather large group of senior and junior GOG users is ridiculous and rude. Cheers

This might alert people to be really watchful of what your goals might be.
