Lucumo: I just looked at the opening for web designer:

GOG.com is seeking a talented and passionate person for its Design Team to help us keep the sky-high standards for design across all components of the GOG.com platform.

Lucumo: I just had to laugh.
Boy would I love to be a fly on the wall during that interview.... "So what you are saying is, you too like to design crap". Lol

Panaias: I really don't get this whole make-our-website-look-like-a-mobile-friendly-but-PC-unfriendly-webpage frenzy. Hey GOG, you know there are still people using PCs, right?

Breja: What? Using PCs to browse a PC games store? Are you crazy? Of course we only use our phones for that.
My apologies to you, sir. I was not aware of that :P

If you want a mobile-friendly version of the store then do exactly that: a mobile-friendly version of it; do not force me to use my index finger on my PC monitor :)
Their storefron't is broken at most mobile resolutions, at least it was a few days ago... Maybe that's been fixed since.
Aaaaa, Thronebreaker is also on a checkout page. Somebody send help!

kbnrylaec: I also hate the stupid new and new new design.
But to be fair, GOG used to do similar things in their old layout, for years.
True, but it never looked so bad with the old design. A big ass banner above a carousal? Makes zero sense. Not to mention ever time I scroll with my mouse, it starts flickering because of the hover video.

So I did what any person would do and removed that crap with a script. Goodbye no longer need to see it. If this is the hill GOG wants to die on so be it.

Breja: I guess that's logical. Since they were redesigning the front page to be something no one would willingly visit, they decided to keep the bug that redirects us there. Stupid, but logical.
Seeing that GOG staffers in those positions aren't particularly long lived, working on the front page for two years may well explain what we're subjected to.

kalirion: Why do you log in or out? Just stay logged in.
Why I (and/or others) log in/out is irrelevant.

The solution to a site bug isn't user(s) changing the way they visit and use the site, a way that worked perfectly fine/as intended before GOG introduced the bug.
It's gone for me now. It's back inside the carousal. Can anyone else confirm?

Linko90: Can confirm.
Glad to see it . Now please disable the autoplay video feature on the front page .
Nice. Thanks for taking feedback into account.

Hooray! We're back from horrendous to just plain terrible again!

Here we go again . :(
Throne breaker went live! Looks good but yes I'm not a fan of the overall layout.
This isn't my type of game but I wish all the success for your game. It would be weird if GOG didn't advertise their own game on their own website.
