Well, i might consider not to, too problematic and it wont work that well, guess i just keep using my old pc until it totally dies and then dump the remainings in the disposal container.
You might ask why not ?
i'll try to explain it a briefly as possible :D
My current setup and all that came before it: back in the good old days building a PC was simple:
1.Ffirst save enough $ Euros Guilders whatever
2. Buy a case that can hold the hardware and is not too large to actually place it somewhere ( space limitation)
3. Buying the hardware:
CPU
GPU
MOBO
PSU
NETWORKCARD ( for the internet)
RAM
FANS
WINDOWS
All very easy cause there was little choice compared to what is available today ≖‿≖
The P100 had a simple basic GPU/CPU?SOUNDCARD
P350 also piece of cake
.
.
.
.
BUT problems appeared buying the first multicore : i5-750
RAM/WINDOWS and other parts no real problem, but it became a challenge ≖‿≖
GTS 250 appeard to be a Bottleneck (+_+)
First Windows on it was good old XP (32 bits) 4 GB RAM
After a while GTS 250 1 GB RAM replaced by GTX 750 ti 2 GB, at first problems seem to be nonexistent
BUT, after a while sh.t hit the fan , seems the CPU became the bottle neck (+_+)
Now years later time to get a new setup ( current setup almost 10 years old) (+_+)(+_+)(+_+) (using w7 64 bits HomePremium)
After this 'mess' a rerun was not what i wanted to have, so the hunt for a CPU began...
Today some good CPU are fairly priced .... after comparing a i7-9700K seemed to be a good deal
thats where the problem begins:
To avoid botllenecking and wasting precious money , you have to search the internet thats where the she ites begins
everywhere they reccommend to get a CPU and GPU that match and thats the problem
The i7-9700K needs a real cooler , dont want to fry things and those coolers are heavvy ... so now the proble is a cooler can sag the hardware , i dont want bend hardware or things to break or tear appart or crush or cause electtric shortcircuiting
So: they all recommend Artic cooler/ freezer, that thing is huge and heavy to be used with the i7-9700K
bad part 2:
You cannot use any GPU, you have to buy expensive one 1050, 1060, and anything in that range are a NO NO
they always recommend GPU that will cost at least 399 or 450 $/ euros well that aint gonna happen, not in a gazillion years
And the final blow is dealt by windozer 10 MickeSoft needs many friend to play so the entire world has to use M$ new toy: windozer 10 , so new hardware wont support win7, and that is too much and the final drop.
Anyway the longer it takes before i am able to get a new one the more relecutant iwill be to spend waste all that hard saved cash.If ans when you have cash and you see a product you like and can buy it right away, you usually go for it, but if you get more time you start to think and consider, and that is bad, this will end up not buyin the product you wanted to.
