Does anybody know a reliable source for some dedicated logitech drivers? Logitech itself only has this "logitech gaming software" one to rule them all nonsense which does not even help my config to recognize my mouse & keyboard but instead comes with flashy stuff I don't need (Or maybe I'm just to old & dumb to use it properly but I remember it annoyed the hell outa me the last time I DLd it).
This question / problem has been solved by v3image
As far as I know is both massive and reliable, you should be able to find even DOS drivers for supported devices. For Logitech, you can [url=http://list.driverguide.com/list/company605/index.html]start here.
Thanks, but all I find a slightly older versions of the thing Logi offers them self. *sigh* I just try that again; since I found no Logitech is the devil driver outrage posts + links to dedicated device drivers anywhere in the web I guess the error, as usual, sits in front of the screen ;)
Take a look at this site for and [url=http://www.nodevice.com/driver/company/Logitech/Keyboard.html]keyboard drivers.

If you still can't find what you're looking for, maybe you could post the exact model of your peripherals so we could help with the search.

G15 Keyboard & G5 Mouse. But looks like I found it with your latest links. Thanks! :)

edit:
Ok, did not do much, but did not break anything either; accidentally got this carambis driver updater thing on (only setup in the G5 files) which looks not uninteresting but... I need to ponder on that one. Too much time already wasted for my luxury problem. Thanks for trying to help :)

I haven't fully understood from the above, is everything working fine now? Feel free to say if otherwise, I haven't searched for the specific drivers since you mentioned finding them.
You could try installing Slimdrivers and letting it do its magic:

Not sure how well it works for peripherals, tho...

Its actually a minor thing. System config recognizes them as generic gaming mouse & keyboard; the only technically (slightly) annoying thing is speed adjustment on the mouse does not work.

Browse through this collection of drivers for your G5 mouse and G15 keyboard.

Forgot to mention it, all of these are well-known sites so there should be no problems, but since they host older software always scan downloaded files just to be sure.
Not that long ago i wanted to give an old web cam a chance on my gaming rig. I couldn't find any Win7 drivers so i downloaded the vista drivers. It blatantly said i had the wrong version of windows; However extracting the drivers and then searching the sub-directories i not only found a compatible driver but it was working within seconds.
