Not all heroes wear frowns.

Zwei: The Arges Adventure is now available DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 10% discount until January 31, 6PM UTC.
The land of Arges is in danger! Even before that mysterious stranger came to poach the six sacred idols, the land was ravaged by Pokkle and Pipiro's crazy antics and painfully unfunny jokes. But now the plucky 14-year-olds take it upon themselves to set things right by using magic, melee and LOTS of food in the chaotic real-time encounters ahead of them.

Craving more jRPG goodness? Spend some jRPG Days with us, in the company of beloved champions of the genre like Celestian Tales, Regalia, or the Ys and Legend of Heroes series, going for up to -80% until January 31.
Finally. Here's my money.

Thank you very much Falcom,Xseed and GoG. :)

EDIT: My first forum pop.

Finishing Iconoclasts first, but I went ahead and bought this. It's Falcom, and they don't disappoint.

Also bought the Trails of Cold Steel DLC, since it's on sale, so now I've got all the Falcom stuff on GOG. Feels pretty good.
This game's announcement already threw me for a loop, knowing it'd be a tough one for XSEED to fix up and make known to the world again. I'm happy to say it's running well for me so far and plays better than before (not that it's one of Falcom's best games in terms of mechanics like combat). Zwei: AA should keep me busy for a while since it's as humorous and genuine as I'd hoped.
why is this cheaper than the other zwei game?

It's technically the first while the other is the second, which would be my primary thought.

Yeah, IIRC (I'm going off of a bad memory here), they released the second game first since at the time they didn't know if the first would be fully possible or viable to do and already had 2 good to go, but then later found out it would be. This lead to Zwei 2 coming out in English before Zwei 1. They also intentionally left the "2" out of the title of the second for the same reason (although the initials for the title end up as Zwei II, which may have been intentional but probably not).
The story callbacks in Zwei: II are minor and largely opaque to anyone who hasn't played Zwei: AA, so don't worry about having to play the first game beforehand. It's best just to start with whichever game's more appealing since they're similar but standalone.

This was mentioned in one of the dev blog posts, but the name forming the number II was 100% intentional.

That's pretty good. It was just something i noticed on my own elsewhere, but that's a good idea to keep it in.

Yelp! They talk like fairfox (iirc the user name correctly).
So kawaii...
If I enjoyed Trails in the Sky and Trails of Cold Steel would I like this game?

I don't have a good track record with real time combat games so I'm hestitant to pick it up.
