So, I know not every program is going to have an awe inspiring title, but it doesn't speak well to creative design if this was the title they went with, ya know? Why not call it "Hornbob Fury"?

Or is this supposed to be a "Clever, subversive, and witty" parody?

...Oh, wait, that's right. It's this thing, that was announced ages ago, and I reamed it for the exact same reason.

Couldn't think of a clever & original title in the several months it took to release, could you, Atomic Wolf?
Do yourself a favor and watch the (funny) trailers. :-)

dnovraD: blah blah
Let me know when you come up with any clever or original comments. Heck, I'd settle for "not completely stupid" at this point.
More like YAWN.

Well, I watched some trailers, but I couldn't find any funny ones.

Then look harder.

BTW: Is today International Grinch Day or what?

I'm sorry, I just read, watched and played way too many fantasy parodies to be amused by a dragon taking a shit and refrences to the fact that Lord of the Rings exists. These trailers make Bored of the Rings look like Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

In that case, could you make a list of recent good ones? (Referring just to games, not other media.)

2.5 months is ages ago?

And the title seems perfectly suited for a parody on fantasy tropes...

"The Spectacular Misadventure of [NAME] in the Land of Tropes" wasn't coming to mind?

If "recent" is condicio sine qua non, then II'll admit I'm a bit stumped, because I'm always way, and I mean literally years, behind with recent releases.
If they can’t be bothered enough to develop a title, I can’t be bothered enough to care.
Dungeon of Nibbelheuk amongst many others already did this sort of thing, and they at least made an effort.

And even Triangle Strategy had some production value.

Or...Untitled Goose Game.

Untitled Goose Game is relatively clever; artfully crass in the establishment of a goose as a menace to society in a humble English town.

I mean in terms of lazy titles.
