Aliens, do you bleed? You will.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown Complete Pack is now available, 80% off until June 18, 10 PM UTC, DRM-free on GOG.com. It contains every piece of content released for the game, including the Enemy Within expansion.
They thought we'd go down without a fight. They were wrong. Also quite ugly.
Commander, the XCOM initiative stands ready. Train and customize your elite squad, research human or alien technology, and take Earth back through turn-based tactical action, and smart base management.

For some heavily discounted old-school X-COM goodness, check out our Summer Sale.
YES!
This is too tempting to pass up.

Well that was a nice surprise. One of my few regrets from going exclusively no-DRM a number of years ago was not getting to play Enemy Within or Long War. Now if Paradox and Bethesda will get on with it and offer up more of their back catalog, I'll be fully square with the house again.
Hella Yeah! And I thought I was done with this sale. So so wrong.

Djaron: 1) They say their hands are tied because of Publisher's consent.
Hello there ? Do you really think or believe the windows version of the game could have been sold (and discounted) on GOG here WITHOUT the publisher's consent ?
Publisher holds all the distribution, sales and IP property's rights, so if they sell one of the platform's port here, they clearly have an agreement and a deal with GOG that feels Ok enough for them.
You are assuming publisher for Windows version is the same as the publisher for the other versions. They're not.
There must be a god. Thanks Gog! :)
For anybody who hasn't played this yet, this is a bargain at $10.

russellskanne: Ehm, how to change the language in this game? There is no language setup tool as usual. And changing the ini-files has no effect. This should be adressed by GOG.

Thiev: Language can be chosen during install from offline installer or switched via Galaxy.
soo... fair price package was put into a sack and thrown into the lake while the kids weren't watching?
I'm ashamed to say that this isn't an instant bought for me. I'll have to wait until GOG releases the final batch of games from the summer sale. HOWEVER this is an absolute buy, by the end of this weekend. Amazing release!!! Thank you GOG, Firaxis and 2k!

Yes, exactly.

Or if you check the price updates topic, it seems the US base price is higher than every other region, so the FPP doesn't apply.

Cavalary: That doesn't seem right... Not just because of the other prices, which with the exception of the ludicrously high AU/NZ ones seem to fit the typical pattern for a $29.99 base/US price, but also because it seems awfully much. Not like it's a new game...

immi101: you know the drill, keep the base price high and lure the customer with "those crazy high discounts" on sale ;)
but I agree, 50 bucks seems overpriced. But since it matches the pricing elsewhere I doubt this is an error ...
I agree, 49.99$ base price...that's crazy :S
Without Online and "only for gog". It isn't the complete edition, not without online.

If we pay the same than Steam Version, we must recibe the same features, not almost all. I won't buy, if 2k keeps this injustice just for GOG users.
Thanks for the new addition to the catalogue. Not exactly my cup of tea, but I'm happy that so many happy fans have got what they were waiting for.

As I somehow own the game on Steam, it would be nice to see it in GOG Connect. I suppose it'd increase my chances to actually play it here :)

One thing worries me - why the game is released for Windows only? Should we expect Linux release soon™?

But for everybody that doesn't care about "online", this IS the complete edition. It's not an "injustice just for GOG users", just for GOG users like you.

I'm glad GOG released this as is. Is it perfect for everybody? Is anything?
