The sequel to the 2012 award-winning strategy game has arrived. XCOM 2 is now available DRM-free on GOG.COM with a special 75% discount lasting until 30th March 2020, 1 PM UTC. Earth is under alien rule. Facing almost impossible odds you must rebuild XCOM and ignite a global resistance to reclaim our world and save humanity.

Apart form the base game, also XCOM 2's DLCs receive special discounts until 30th March 2020, 1 PM UTC. During that time, if you buy all the XCOM 2 titles, you will receive an additional 51% discount on the whole bundle.
If I have the base game on steam and buy just the expansion, will it work? I'd guess not, but maybe someone knows...

Actually it may. But I'm not sure if it's legal tho.

BitMaster_1980: Does anyone have an experience how well (or if at all) it does under Wine?
XCOM (the first game in the series) runs well in Wine Staging + DXVK. All I can say for now.

I think the base from steam won't see the files from Gog or it will brings a lot of errors, especiallty with .exe file.

karnak1: UPS... I wasn't aware of that. Sorry :P

Thanks for the info. I wish GOG had a complete set as well.

Thank you very much!

Well... that settles it, then.
Instabought!
You did it again, awesome! More to come please!
Great release with great discount ! :)
The price for the whole package is really tempting, and I enjoyed the first part, but the second part has too many missions with time limits/limited turns for my taste.
The release date of WOTC is wrong, it came out aug 29, 2017. Not 3 dec 2018.
Ok, instabought.
Now can we get Civ VI and beyond Earth? I don't mind Civ 5 either, but I already bought that like 5 times.

The expansion really toned that down from what I remember, not to mention in the advanced options when starting a game you can opt to double the mission timers for instance which really just makes them largely inconsequential, or no doubt mods to disable them entirely.

Nice. Grabbed the works. Thank you, GOG.
Thank GoG I waited and held off on buying the steam version, I already have the near-complete GoG collection except for this one! Now I can call the collection complete! Thanks GoG, this is a big one!

kbnrylaec: Countdown clock is wrong, one hour short, like all other Spring Sale promo pages.
That may be due due to daylight saving time starting the day before the promo ends.
There's a bug in the discount calculation. If you select more than one but less than all items, the main game and the Resistance Warrior Pack revert to full price.
