falloutttt: Is there a complete edition of this game ? :/

So many DLC. On steam there's 7 of them, here there's only 4 ? :/

+1 to Civilization V.
Those missing DLCs are included in the Reinforcements Pack DLC which GOG has. It's mentioned on the Reinforcements Pack store page.

For someone who owns the first game and Xenonauts, what important new mechanics does the game bring? If it's just a safe, bare-minimum-effort sequel, I'll pass.

Also, this or Battlestar Galactica Deadlock?

Mr.Caine: Like half of those DLC's are just cosmetics. Gamers really need to abadon the mindset that every DLC is essential.
Din't know, thanks!

karnak1: Unfortunately it seems there's not a "complete edition" of the game. Even on steam you have to buy the game+DLCs separately.

As for the extra DLCs not included here, it seems they're mostly cosmetic. Apparently they've not been well received (unless you want to turn your freedom fighters into clowns) :|

Right, no clowns thanks! :)

There's a collection/complete edition on steam: https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/7118/XCOM_2_Collection/

Thank you, Sir!

I guess, that will make this a complete collection. And GOG fixed the price as well.

that is because one of the DLC combines 3 previously separate ones
the reinforcement pack in fact includes former DLCs "Aliens Hunter", "Shen's Last Gift" and "Anarchy soldiers pack"

Aliens hunter brings up 3 heavy modified (and kinda unbalanced) alien alpha bosses (a viper, a berserker and an archon) as well as some special weapons on your side (like frost grenade) and some cool cosmetics made up of ADVENT fashion

Shen's last gift brings up a rather tense scripted mission and a new soldier class: robot unit the SPARK

Anarchy soldiers pack brings up some rather madmaxy outfit cosmetics

those were also included in XCom 2 "deluxe edition"

the other reinforcement pack is cosmetics too and was initially a preorder bonus

so, all the DLCs are here... though the ones that matter are the huge Expansion War of the Chosen that turns the game into an entirely different yet oddly familiar beast, and it's own DLC "tactical legacy" that proposes prequel story that links between xcom 1 and 2, through a serie of tactical missions without the whole strategy/management layer, featuring central officer Bradford in his quest to build the resistance and looking for missing commander.

Through the gates of Hell, as we make our way to heaven.. through the ADVENT lines... PRIMO VICTORIA !

Fucking AWESOME!

An original X-Com fan (easily still in my top 10, probably top 5), I loved the first console reboot but had given up on console gaming by the time this one released.

Super excited to play this!

QUESTION - is War of the Chosen a seperate campaign, or is it woven into the main campaign if you have the add-on?

I'm on the fence if I want to play just base game, or maybe pepper in some of the addon stuff (I'm leaning toward base and then maybe saving the other stuff for an "enhanced" second playthrough).
