The sequel to the 2012 award-winning strategy game has arrived. XCOM 2 is now available DRM-free on GOG.COM with a special 75% discount lasting until 30th March 2020, 1 PM UTC. Earth is under alien rule. Facing almost impossible odds you must rebuild XCOM and ignite a global resistance to reclaim our world and save humanity.

Apart form the base game, also XCOM 2's DLCs receive special discounts until 30th March 2020, 1 PM UTC. During that time, if you buy all the XCOM 2 titles, you will receive an additional 51% discount on the whole bundle.
I know what I'll be playing next! Thanks for finally getting this one out!

Pyromancer138: No multiplayer mode?
Honestly, I can't think of anybody who cares for or ever asked for a multiplayer mode in XCOM. It always came across as one of them useless "checked a box" features.

Ew. TMI.

This.

Mr.Mumbles: Cool. ... Now how about Civ V? ;)
I'll have a proper report ready for you this weekend, but I've seen no sign of activity on it. So a release is most likely not imminent.
Over 3,500 wishes fulfilled (combining base game and expansion):

Well done, GOG!

Absolutely!

Come on give us civ5
Does anyone have an experience how well (or if at all) it does under Wine?

Mafwek: How is it compared to XCOM 1?
Improved in every way, bigger, more refined except:
- still 90%, barrel in face of alien and miss in 9/10 cases (dramatization). prefered tracing bullets fom 94' xcom...
- massive download

also first was about defending against invasion, for me partizan war in 2 was a little bit step back from this idea. Also now after a while your squad of soldiers resembles more cartoon superheroes. Still - recomended, if you have time ;]
Is there a complete edition of this game ? :/

So many DLC. On steam there's 7 of them, here there's only 4 ? :/

+1 to Civilization V.

No personal experience but it is listed on Steam as running on SteamOS/Linux so it should be possible one way or another.

Countdown clock is wrong, one hour short, like all other Spring Sale promo pages.

Like half of those DLC's are just cosmetics. Gamers really need to abadon the mindset that every DLC is essential.

Unfortunately it seems there's not a "complete edition" of the game. Even on steam you have to buy the game+DLCs separately.

As for the extra DLCs not included here, it seems they're mostly cosmetic. Apparently they've not been well received (unless you want to turn your freedom fighters into clowns) :|

I need some directions. Which among the DLC for this game is significant (so not just cosmetic or with very minor additions)?
