The next chapter in the X4: Foundations story is now available DRM-free on GOG.COM. X4: Split Vendetta greatly increases the size of the universe of the base game and introduces two new Split family clans along with their economy, new ships, weapons, and station modules.

To add more flavor to the game, until 7th April, 2 PM UTC, X4: Split Vendetta soundtrack is available on GOG.COM with a special 10% discount.
So why is it not available to download?
Offline installer.
The news is misleading. The DRM-free DLC is not available on GOG yet.

Right now it was uploaded only on Galaxy DRM and if you are using Linux… tough cookies.
I just downloaded 909mb extra after the 3.0 update after I ordered and paid for the new Split Vendetta Content...
Installers no later than tomorrow, please!

A DLC for a broken game ? how wonderful!
The main game also recieved a very big update.

Let me remind people that the system requirements are no joke. You must have a good processor and have at least 3GB of video RAM and the graphics card must support Vulkan.

GOG provide them, so you always get a delay, as it's a one person job for everything on the site, usually only a few hours later, but depends on how much is released, and with the current issues, it may take longer.
I have a question. I bought the X4 Deluxe edition way back when. I got the Split DLC today but not the Split soundtrack. Do we have to buy the soundtrack separately?

I tested it. I added the soundtrack to my cart and went to the checkout page. There in a little note over the items, it said that I already owned the Dekuxe-Edition, which contains the said soundtrack. So perhaps it is only delayed.

I know. It was a rhetorical question. Or sarcasm. It pisses me off the attention the client gets over the offline installers.
Thanks for your reply though.
nvm

Most strange. I don't see any new soundtracks for download. I checked the old ones (I redownloaded them) but nothing appears to have changed.

ChillAslce, the old X4 Foundations soundtrack, does it have a FLAC option? I ask as the collectors edition page just indicates MP3 while on GOGs competitor steam they indicate FLAC and MP3 so wondering if gog made a mistake on their page or we actually get less from the product. Yes the x4 split soundtrack mentions both formats, so I'm concerned with foundations.
