There's priests & rogues too!

Wizards & Warriors is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The cult classic, Wizardry-like first-person RPG, returns. Wanna be an elephantoid Omphaaz, a feline Whiskah (night vision baby) or a boring human? Form a six-person team, then roam the land of Gael Cerran searching for an evil that's been going unchecked for too long and maybe lost treasure as well. Set those dungeons ablaze with magic and a mix of real-time and turn-based combat. Like old times.

huan: Wizardry-like? I never heard of it, but the screenshots looks closer to might & magic (6+) than wizardry. Not that there is anything wrong with MM6... tempting release.
The original release really emphasized the point that this game was designed by D. W. Bradley, who was involved in the design of Wizardry V, VI, and VII. That's probably where they're pulling that from.

Martian12: I don't understand, is the combat in real time or turn based? Or a mix? I saw a video and it seemed real time.
From what I remember, everything but the combat is in real-time. Many enemies have slow attack animations, so it's actually pretty easy to dodge a lot of them.

Did anybody tried it? I have this game(psychical copy) but you were not able to play this on Windows 10 without unofficial patches and dgVoodoo2.

Did they fix it completely. I mean I don't need to apply unofficial patch and had to use dgVoodoo2 right?
Is Actvision fix it by using source code or GoG applied those things unofficially sorry for the bad English.
I hope you understand what I'm trying to explain.

EDIT: YES, my old saves still work, and everything's the same as it ever was, save for the wonky mouse lag...

Have this on disc and with some tweaks it runs on Win7

Wishlisted for now and will buy later (hopefully more sales will continue more old game releases)

Can you also level up? There was a bug you couldn't get your stats and spells.
But I'm sure GoG won't release it like that probably they fixed it.

I have tried it. Works decently, just don't press anything during loading times.

This Game on disc always crashed for me after a while
Instant buy so i can at least finnish it.

Whelp, I'm able to use my old saves yet I never had that bug, thankfully! But yeah, the game runs magnificently!
