Not any more. As this has happened before, I'm sure it's down to the standard template they use for all new 'GAME DETAILS' sections (and so it would appear that no one has bothered to permanently remove XP from it yet).

Holy GOG, how can it be?! What a shame! It's a dinosaur OS that no one in sane mind uses in our days!

GOG can not, GOG must not support this, it must not work at all, it's a blasphemy, it's a heresy, we all shall die...
So why do you even care? Can't you use the game because it supports an OS you would not use at all if somebody would point a gun to your head? There MAY be some people who are happy about this so getting an additinal feature should never be a bad thing and sometimes it also may be a good thing to think about others as well - but that's just a suggestion.

On topic: The game is called out here as being a "walking sim". Much to my surprise many people also said that Ethan Carter would be a walking sim (which is not my opinion since there's actual gameplay and even some puzzle solving in it). So my question is: has the game actual gameplay in it (find the way, solve puzzles, collect items ect.) or is it really JUST walking around and looking at things to experience narrative like "Dear Esther"? Is this a purely narrative driven game or does it offer a bit more than just narration?

ssokolow: Generally, I let games come to my attention when they show up on GOG or in a Humble Bundle. If I do become aware of a desirable game outside those contexts, I add it to my IsThereAnyDeal waitlist and forget about it. No point in being aware of a game that's not available on my terms.
I do this too. There are so many excellent games competing for my attention at GOG, I don't need crippleware from anyone else.

Really glad It's made it here, I had asked the devs to release a while ago.

Unfortunately I've not got the cash to buy now, so Its going to be wishlisted.

Just a Shame it didn't get a simultaneous release, I'm guessing many people that would have liked a GoG copy have already bought it on Steam.

Maybe you are right but either way maybe people who want to be ironic in a forum without any audio should really start to use those smileys. They were invented just because it's often nearly is impossible to recognise sarcasm or irony when you don't have the tone of the post as well. Not knowing about anything he posted before it's not that far fetched to think that this could in fact be a real complaint because there are several people out there who are simply hating people using XP because of it being so outdated. I had my share of conversations with those when I tried to stay true to XP while the system was supposed to be dead for quite some time.

I beg to differ as I think his post was characterised by a rather distinct tone of irony (with hints of sarcasm) and hyperbole (the second sentence, in particular, made it obvious that the whole thing wasn't to be taken seriously).

The Google search was just an afterthought.

O.K. - reading it again I'll have to agree that especially the "we all shall die" part is hard to be taken seriously but not the whole post. I have to confess that I actually did not even consciously see this last part until now - maybe I got a bit angry when reading the first part of the post (like I said I had several discussions in the past with XP haters) so that I stopped reading it completely. But part of my argument still stands. If you want to be certain people don't take things for real you wrote as a joke just use those thingies => ;)

Is it just me, or did the discount just go up from 20% to 33%? What gives? If I'd bought it right away before the better discount, I'd be annoyed.

So there is noone who could help me with my question?

I assume it was intended that the game would be 33% off on launch, but a bug/oversight messed it up. I hope everyone who bought it before the discount adjustment is refunded the difference.

33% was the discount intended because it's the same actually on steam, where they have also discounted the game.

From what i have seen, this is a truly walking simulator. It's not an Obduction, for instance. I have seen it on steam right now and it also has the tag "visual novel". I am seeing a gameplay now, and all the guy is doing is moving and clicking things, no puzzles, no other gameplay. Oh, and the whole game is about 2 hours long it seems.
