Thanks for the info! I was considering purchasing this game. Looks fun and I like the artstyle. But to play co-op, I need friends who game. xD I donated my newsletter discount to the forums. Hard pass for me, sadly.

fyi, after contacting the dev, I got this reply:

"""We support real LAN. We follow Ross Scott and the Stop Killing Games movement. :)"""

So, LAN is supported without any external server dependency.
