Pop, point and click...

Does look quite interesting though, and it's been a number of years since I've played a point 'n' click adventure game...
just started playing, not too far in, but unlike a bunch of other games in the genre, it has basic functionality like a hotspot indicator, double-click to move faster, skip dialog with a click, separate volume settings, a pretty good hint system, and probably because it's targeting consoles and/or touchscreens, a simple mouseover is enough to examine objects, saves on a lot of clicking. also makes things a bit too trivial, as you can just quickly scroll the mouse wheel over a hotspot to see what in your inventory makes a valid combo, but you can obviously just not do that.

while it's voiced, I'm not a fan of the voice acting, and object descriptions are text-only. imagine how annoying it would be if random lines started playing just by moving the mouse around, but clicking them could still do the voices if they'd recorded them.

the story seems interesting enough so far and choices supposed to matter, not sure to what extent. don't care that much either (I don't replay games), but I got reprimanded a bit by what I guess was the first chapter, and it took me by surprise, as I didn't think I did anything 'bad', nor did I realize I had that many choices (I remember one and that would count as the opposite of my rating, I'd say, but whatever).
Wishlisted. It reminds me a lot to Perry Rhodan adventure game, in graphics and style:

The Immortals of Terra A Perry Rhodan Adventure.

I keep wishing GOG would release that game.

checking for everyone else:

is there hidden drm that we need to be aware of?

please let us know - and preferably on the first page of this topic so that people don't have to go searching high and low for the answer to the question.

thank you.

oo. a point and click science fiction detective game? colour me intrigued. :)
Is the resolution in the requirements the bare minimum? Sadly my vertical res is 768.
I'll wait for some reviews to come out but it definitely has me intrigued!

Maybe check your local landfills for a 1080p monitor from 10 years ago.

If this game is based in Unity, I bet you can set it to Windowed mode and reajust the resolution as you see fit, manually. (Hollow Knight-like)

Saying this because, in the past, I had problems with some resolutions, but never had any with Unity based games, because it was so easy to change it.
Also, as you probably know, if not based in Unity, the game may come with config files which you may edit to play with the desired resolution.

There's a problem though: If the resolution is hardcoded with the HUD, even if it matches the screen, some elements of the UI may break. At least, that was my experience with some games. (...Kingdom's of Amalur: Reckoning | the original one, not Re-Reckoning.)
Cool looking adventure game.

I fear that editing manually non official resoultions, if this is possible, it could lead to glitches or artifacts. Something sub par, some kind of distortion... etc. A pity

the game supports 1280x720, 1360x768, 1366x768, 1600x900, and 1920x1080 resolutions, and there's a windowed mode toggle. since it's in unity, you could try editing the registry for other resolutions, see how it works out.
