Made in a close partnership with Games Workshop, a story-rich classical RPG set in one of the most iconic universes of all time, made by Owlcat Games, developers of the critically acclaimed Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is now available on GOG! To make things even better, by purchasing the game in the first week of the release you'll receive Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate and Warhammer 40,000: Rites of War as a GIFT.

Moreover you can grab the game’s in its Deluxe Edition or Voidfarer Edition, and snatch the DLCs: Deluxe Pack, Voidfarer Pack, Limited Outfit, as well as Season Pass.

Please note: contents of the game’s DLCs are currently unavailable to access while playing offline. The issue is being actively investigated and should be soon resolved.

Let’s explore why it was such an anticipated title!

In Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, Begin your adventure aboard your personal, giant voidship, traveling between the multitude of systems within the Koronus Expanse, a barely charted and incredibly perilous region of space. Despite being considered a backwater of the Imperium, this region encompasses an enormous stretch of the void, filled with dangerous creatures and prodigious opportunities for profit and exploration.

Your role as Lord-Captain is pivotal; your choices wield consequence. Whether displaying mercy or disdain, upholding loyalty to the God-Emperor, or delving into alliances with enemies of Mankind, each decision, from character creation to quest outcomes, shapes the dynamic open world and its inhabitants.

Forge alliances and build your crew, composed of valiant heroes, enigmatic psykers, and even dubious xenos. These loyal companions will accompany you into the abyss of space, providing counsel, aiding in battles, and contributing to the accumulation of power. In turn, your influence will guide them through personal journeys that alter their destinies.

Precision is paramount in the game’s isometric turn-based tactical combat system. Strategize within the intricacies of cover, exploit the environment, and carefully position your forces to gain the upper hand. When conventional tactics fall short, leverage your companions' formidable abilities to triumph in even the direst situations. With a faithful adaptation of the classic Rogue Trader ruleset, the game unfolds with an abundance of possibilities waiting to be explored.

And if you’d like to join our Twitch Stream of the game, feel free to do so on December 10th, 6 PM UTC!

Ancient-Red-Dragon: Why are Galaxy Achievements not listed on the store page? Is that an error in the listing?

Or is this game actually missing Galaxy Achievements? And if so, they are they going to be added?
avatar
SaarElwood: That's a very good question, which I would also be very interested in.

Could someone who owns the game please tell me if achievements are available?
There are achievements in Galaxy.

Many thanks for the information. :-)

Syphon72: This is starting to be such common thing. Some games are completely different from the released version now.
The new release date for games is when they stop patching them. Welcome to the 21st century, I guess.
avatar
neumi5694: Same here.

I'm a little disappointed that it was not possible to order the voidfahrer edition from them.

There also seems to be a DLC that is only available if one owns that edition. I hope that's just a error in the listing.

mcneil_1: Ok looks like for me the digital deluxe items key finally worked.
Yep. Got it yesterday before going to bed.

... and my nickname is in the credits as well :)
Question, I have already the two gift games, when I buy the game now will I get a key for those two games or does so GoG have nothing for me buying the game in the release week?

Usually, you get (a) key(s) for any game(s) you already own.

Well in Stronghold Crusader 2 Special Edtion while HD and Crusader are included but as I already own the two games I get nothing.

Korotan: ...
No, we don't get extras. If you own the free bonus games already (as do I), the best you can do is to be happy for those who don't.

That's why I bolded the "usually" in my reply to you. ;)

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is another pile of code (not a game) made by Walking Dead aka Zombie aka Orks, so I recommend you GAMERS do not buy such a pile of crap code - Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader!

Sorry but Warhammer Orks are not Zombies. Warhammer Orcs are just simple minded cause they have simple needs.
They just want to eat, to brawl, to race and to let things explode.
They are not kill fanatics like Khorne worshippers, they are just likeing a good fight similar to the gauls in a certain village by the see.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader should not be called a game. It is more like a pile of code that was written by one finger of the left leg that left after developers returned from "special operation".

GAMERS I am asking you to buy the Dawn of War games it is a much better investment, at the same time Rogue Trader - is throwing huge amounts of money to the wind!!!

It's very much a game, how much of a game depends on your level of expectations. People who have played Owlcat Games titles in the past kind of know what to expect. It's no AAA title, that's for sure.

P.S.: To be fair, I'm surprised it was launched so quickly after a fairly short beta... I guess they forgot to polish their games like CDPR :P.

Blood for the blood god!... (and flowers for the flower god! :P) I think Khorne worshipers are simply misunderstood agents of order. They like to put things where they belong.

The send message still remains as a bot. Because the game is made by a Russian studio. But in reality it's a very good PC game that I recommend you buy.

Was well aware of the nuance. But as Korotan before me, I deflected.

Eventually? Maybe. On release, if it goes anything like Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, it will be a bug fest you'll have to chew on hard to enjoy.
