Wow!
A two-part saga... The first video game (with all its hits and misses) seems to me a more than acceptable work. I hope this second installment gives more than the previous one and takes it to a better position within the genre.
In short, the first part is a great game. I hope this second part will be even better.
For the moment to the wish list!

I liked the first one so I wishlist this one.
Nice! And they seem to have updated the GOG version of Vaporum.
I think we've all had enough lockdowns this year :P
I really liked Vaporum. Insta-wishlisted this one.

Two questions – I'd be grateful for help:
– are we going to get Linux version of the sequel?
– are the game engine and hardware requirements the same as for the first game?

Thanks. Great to know!

Regarding hardware requirements - you're also right, the same for both games, indeed. I'm quite surprised, because I was sure that the new ones are higher. That's probably because I've played the first Vaporum on laptop being below minimum requirements and still I've got good performance with definitely non-minimal settings. This game is really nicely optimized.
Instabuy - this one is a no brainer! :)

Well, it is still the same "good old" Vaporum with the same engine. It's practically a stand-alone DLC - unfortunately, we may have to wait a few years for an actual sequel to come out.

"Lockdown" thus plays in the same location as the original, with the same opponents (plus a few new additions), known protagonists, same UI, same graphics, same sound, same skills (plus some extras).

In fact, when it was announced, the developer basically said that it would be the original Vaporum in reverse with a few little tweaks. Instead of making your way from the exit/entrance to the top of the tower, fight your way from the top of the tower down to the exit. Still waiting for the first reviews to see how far they took those "tweaks" though.

Could be fun. (I wishlisted it for later. Maybe not an instant purchase for me, but worth keeping an eye on.)
I liked the original Vaporum, but this one seems to have too few additions the the original gameplay and also is a prequel story which makes me less interested.
I can't say I really like Dungeon Master likes (ie square dancing simulators) but hopefullly in the future the devs make a turn-based blobber.
Nice. I'll buy it as soon as I'm home.
Looks good but I use Win7 dual boot with Linux so will just stick to the original (which I own but haven't played).

Well, two years ago unless my patch didn't update!

Wishlisted for now as I have the original.
