There will be blood. Delicious blood.

<span class="bold">Vampire&reg;: The Masquerade - Bloodlines&trade;</span>, the timeless RPG masterpiece that has sucked many a gamer's time, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Intoxicating. Macabre. Vital. These are both traits of blood and of Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, the RPG that forever changed expectations on how the creatures of the night should be depicted in videogames. Was it the ridiculous replayability? The versatility of our vampiric abilities? The gripping visual and sound design? Perhaps the memorable NPCs and stellar writing. One thing is for certain: much like the daunting Antediluvians, this is a game whose allure only grows stronger with time. No point in resisting it any longer.

Sink your teeth into the definitive bloodsucking experience that is <span class="bold">Vampire&reg;: The Masquerade - Bloodlines&trade;</span>, DRM-free on GOG.com.

This series is one of the few films i'd repurchase here (have them on DVD).
YES!! Now I can quit Steam for good! (not really)

Oh happy day. Now to wait for a sale; I don't think I'll pay 19.99 for a game I already have, even though I'd much rather have it here.

But - finally! This rocks.
Is this version fixed or i need mods?

"Unable to load engine.dll". How can i fix this?

Hey there! Sorry you're having trouble but usually what fixes this error is the following, but if that doesn't work, please try considering the solutions after it:
go the “Bin” subfolder (found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines\) and delete the “vampire_python21.dll” file. Then rename the “vampire_python21.dll.12” file to “vampire_python21.dll”.

• make sure the game is using your dedicated graphics card (Nvidia/AMD). A lot of laptops don’t have one and if your PC happens to have an integrated/Intel card, you’ll need to use a program called “3D-Analyze” instead (http://www.3dfxzone.it/dir/tools/3d_analyze/download/ - click on “3D-Analyze 2.36” ). I personally haven’t used it myself, but a tutorial is available via. this link: http://www.3dfxzone.it/dir/articles/3d_analyze_user_guide/
• simply copy the contents of the “Bin” subfolder (found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines\) , and paste it into the game’s main folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines\).
• similar to the previous solution: copy the contents of the “Bin” subfolder (found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines\) and paste it into the “Vampire” subfolder (found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines\).
• yet again, similar to the previous solution: copy the contents of the “Bin” subfolder (found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines\) and paste it into the “Unofficial Patch” subfolder (found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines\).
•Adjust the game's launch options by doing the following:
- right-click on “Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines” in your Steam library
- select Properties
- on the General tab, click "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS..."
- type in (with no space beforehand):-window
- IF you've got the Unofficial Patch installed, type this instead:-game Unofficial_Patch -window
- then click "OK”

This information all comes from this Steam guide and I'd be interested in knowing what fixed this issue for you:

I noticed most of the screenshots changed. Anybody know why?

Looks possible that they weren't getting the sales they wanted, so they added more cleavage shots. *shrug*

:P Actually the main cleavage shot is one they didn't change. That had always been there.

Except GOG version uses standard location, not Steam one ;)

Those screen shots look like the original publicity screenshots for the game from back in the day. Much better than the ones they had up I think.
I feel really silly. I had it in my head that Bloodlines came before Redemption, and I've been holding off on getting Redemption all of this time because I figured no point until I can play Bloodlines first. Derrrr....
imo these (mostly) new screenshots look (way) better

I apologize haha. Being a bit lazy!
How do you remove the patch since its incompatible with other mods?
