There will be blood. Delicious blood.

Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, the timeless RPG masterpiece that has sucked many a gamer's time, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Intoxicating. Macabre. Vital. These are both traits of blood and of Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, the RPG that forever changed expectations on how the creatures of the night should be depicted in videogames. Was it the ridiculous replayability? The versatility of our vampiric abilities? The gripping visual and sound design? Perhaps the memorable NPCs and stellar writing. One thing is for certain: much like the daunting Antediluvians, this is a game whose allure only grows stronger with time. No point in resisting it any longer.

Sink your teeth into the definitive bloodsucking experience that is Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Note: This version includes third-party technical fixes, courtesy of Wesp5. The full unofficial patch, which also includes additional content, can be found over at Patches Scrolls.

Projectsonic: Thanks for the unofficial patch link, I was about to ask about where to find that.
The game has the basic version of the patch already inside :)

I think I picked it up for about 5 on Steam a year ago.
Same here, i bought VTMB in a Steam sale for 4,99€ and also grabbed a retail copy for a few bucks from eBay.

As long as the community patches work with those versions there's no need to buy it a third time. :D

OMFG. From now on i'll only buy games in one Platform : GOG.

i also have VTMB in Steam (bought it 2 years ago), but i'll definitely buy it here.

Very surprised you finally managed to negociate this one with Activision. Can't justify spending the full $20 considering how often the Steam version goes on sale, but I'll gladly re-buy this at $5. Great to see it comes with the unofficial patch included considering how broken it is without it.

I'll buy it eventually just for convenience as this includes the patch. (assuming it gets updated regularly on here)
20 is way above making an impulse purchase for a game I already own.
yes, yes and yes

Ah well. :P
You are comparing apples to oranges, GOG's default price to Steam's sale price.

I just checked what the game costs in Steam now, and for me it is more than in GOG, 19.99€. So if you want the GOG version cheaper, wait for a sale, naturally.

I have the game from DotEmu so I am not in a hurry to buy the GOG version. I don't remember how much I paid for the DotEmu version.
