There will be blood. Delicious blood.

Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, the timeless RPG masterpiece that has sucked many a gamer's time, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Intoxicating. Macabre. Vital. These are both traits of blood and of Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, the RPG that forever changed expectations on how the creatures of the night should be depicted in videogames. Was it the ridiculous replayability? The versatility of our vampiric abilities? The gripping visual and sound design? Perhaps the memorable NPCs and stellar writing. One thing is for certain: much like the daunting Antediluvians, this is a game whose allure only grows stronger with time. No point in resisting it any longer.

Sink your teeth into the definitive bloodsucking experience that is Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Note: This version includes third-party technical fixes, courtesy of Wesp5. The full unofficial patch, which also includes additional content, can be found over at Patches Scrolls.

^^ This was posted around two weeks ago.

There are some threads you need to watch closely on here (like this one : https://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_that_are_unofficially_confirmed_for_release_in_the_future_part_2/post3280 )

For example, I will just say that you shouldn't buy oblivion or fallout new vegas on steam if you refrained till now. :P

Niggles: Where is it confirmed they will come here?
Not confirmed as such, but SCPM being right on Bloodlines release give a heavy credance to this post :

And they are both on the list I linked to. :) (like the BIT series)
20 quid ! ?

Is that right ?

CarrionCrow: The Nosferatu already got pranked, every last one of them.

Ah, mages...that makes me think of all the things Paradox can do with a new game. If they can put together an experience that really shows the whole World of Darkness and lets people be a part of it to at least the degree of Bloodlines?
They could have a title that lives up to the title of legendary.
Exactly, trying to one-up that one is a struggle. But I see it as a challenge.

Hurm, but which one, elevator mages, or caffeine-addicted mages?

I'm still sore about being bundled with the Ventrue in Earth-717
NFW!

I... have no words.
Great release. I've been meaning to replay this game and this time, I'm picking malkavian clan.

Are you ready for life-threatening duels against Stop-signs? Are you ready to start intimate conversations with your television set? Are you ready to become a mad prophet???

Voices will keep him safe :P
It's here? It's finally here! PRAISE THE EMPEROR!

This man is smart.
grabs a hacksaw
That's why I'm taking his brain!
Any possibility to reclaim this game? $20 is too high for me for an awesome game. It drains my blood.

Thiev: Voices will keep him safe :P
No they won't. The voices want to be free of their meaty prison. They want to go back to being pure abstract conceptual ideas, information wants to be free. So they keep constantly saying stuff like, "oy, why don't you step on that werewolf's tail? Or tell that choir-boy mage how his momma is so fat, she has her own spheres. Or see that incoming 60mph semi? Why don't you walk right in front of it, that'll sure surprise the driver. Come on it'll be fun!" Which are admittedly pretty good ideas, only not so much when I'm the one personally doing them.

I quieted mine down by inserting a network connector in my brain, then going in 4chan.

They only whimper now.

Voices... Always voices... Torment without end. (Crowfather, darksiders)
Finally, VTM Bloodlines! Fantastic RPG. The Steam version is broken and my physical copy (a gift from a former colleague) needs a separate DVD with patches galore and a custom installer to make it play on 64Bit.
It is worth the price of admission. Sure, it *is* rather pricey, but I'm going to grab it while the blood is still fresh. It has been on my GOG wishlist for ages, waiting for my character to wake up from torpor.
<<Hmm, Yess.... Ahhhhhhh....>>

Yes, playing Malkavian is a hoot, but best left for a second playthrough, because their insight can often lead to spoilers.
Now for some other Source-based games as well.
