There will be blood. Delicious blood.

Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, the timeless RPG masterpiece that has sucked many a gamer's time, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Intoxicating. Macabre. Vital. These are both traits of blood and of Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, the RPG that forever changed expectations on how the creatures of the night should be depicted in videogames. Was it the ridiculous replayability? The versatility of our vampiric abilities? The gripping visual and sound design? Perhaps the memorable NPCs and stellar writing. One thing is for certain: much like the daunting Antediluvians, this is a game whose allure only grows stronger with time. No point in resisting it any longer.

Sink your teeth into the definitive bloodsucking experience that is Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Note: This version includes third-party technical fixes, courtesy of Wesp5. The full unofficial patch, which also includes additional content, can be found over at Patches Scrolls.

Dalthnock: It could happen, I'm at least as special as all those hobos that the government is spying on, man!
Just make a rule not to buy on Steam. Ever. Problem solved ;)
Fantastic news!!!!!!!!!!

CarrionCrow: The Ventrue can worry with the whole conquering everything bit.

I'll stick with hiding in the shadows, driving them all insane, then having a laugh as it all goes to explosive, catastrophic hell. =)
The shadows are kind of cramped, and more than a bit smelly with all the Nosferatu. Also you might step on dog poop, or worse, on a dog's tail then get disemboweled by said dog with no sense of humour.

I'd much rather do a musical number under the spotlight.

With a grand entrace!

Dalthnock: Again.

I just bought this last week on Steam, after waiting & waiting for it to come here. No word, no hint, no nothing. So I eventually cracked.

If I was a cuntspirationist, I'd say that GOG just doesn't want my money & waits for me to buy stuff from Steam before releasing it here.

It could happen, I'm at least as special as all those hobos that the government is spying on, man!

^^ This was posted around two weeks ago.

There are some threads you need to watch closely on here (like this one : https://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_that_are_unofficially_confirmed_for_release_in_the_future_part_2/post3280 )

For example, I will just say that you shouldn't buy oblivion or fallout new vegas on steam if you refrained till now. :P

I'll take Nosferatu company over, say, a Toreador's, any day of the week.

There's only so many times you can hear some posturing halfwit babble about the beauty of some pretentious bit of artwork before you want to shove a stake up their ass, then burn their face off with a blowtorch, screaming "Do you feel pretty now!?!?!" as they gurgle and convulse.

Oh, I find them hillarious, specially if you get a mage to enchant every mirror in their house to reflect their inner "beauty". The screams could be heard from 6 miles away.

Pranking Nosferatu doesn't feel as righteous. Except for the few that think their information works is da shit. and start acting all high and mighty about it.

Those I change their rats with brain-damaged laboratory mice.

NARF!
This is great news. Well done, GOG.com!

I'm happy I checked in today.

MBiL_248: Perhaps your're right, but this video seems to show the uncensored intro: Link
It's only a second or two with an alternative angle, so there's no really reason to complain, but I'm curious.
That is definitely not the same as the intro I played on the original version. Also, notice the fish-eye distortion effect going on when the Sheriff swings his sword? Makes me wonder if this is footage of some sort of homebrewed patch or something.

The Nosferatu already got pranked, every last one of them.

Ah, mages...that makes me think of all the things Paradox can do with a new game. If they can put together an experience that really shows the whole World of Darkness and lets people be a part of it to at least the degree of Bloodlines?
They could have a title that lives up to the title of legendary.

That's quite possible, I really can't tell. It would fit the cut reports, but I have to admit there are many videos on YouTube without this particular scene, so I'm not sure.
