There will be blood. Delicious blood.

Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, the timeless RPG masterpiece that has sucked many a gamer's time, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Intoxicating. Macabre. Vital. These are both traits of blood and of Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, the RPG that forever changed expectations on how the creatures of the night should be depicted in videogames. Was it the ridiculous replayability? The versatility of our vampiric abilities? The gripping visual and sound design? Perhaps the memorable NPCs and stellar writing. One thing is for certain: much like the daunting Antediluvians, this is a game whose allure only grows stronger with time. No point in resisting it any longer.

Sink your teeth into the definitive bloodsucking experience that is Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Note: This version includes third-party technical fixes, courtesy of Wesp5. The full unofficial patch, which also includes additional content, can be found over at Patches Scrolls.

RRAAWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHH
Awesome! Looks like I'll finally get a shot at this one. I don't know how, but I completely missed it the first time around (despite the fact that Redemption was a game I was really looking forward to and purchased on original release). It must have come out right around the time I was shifting to consoles?
Great to see the game here, great to see Activision back, great to see 22,000+ votes completed, and great to see SCPM right! :) Hopefully Emperor Rise of the Middle Kingdom finally shows up after four years of waiting, along with SWAT 4, missing Sierra adventures, etc.

javihyuga: LOL. After years of "OMG, Bloodlines on GOG would be sooo nice, I'd pay a lot" and now it's finally here, most posts are: "OMG, the same price as on every other store??!! TOO EXPENSIVE" xD
What did you expect? That instead of the 20 $ it costs on Steam, they would allow GOG to sell it at 5$?
BTW, nice to see the fair price for €.
I think the issue is more the fact that it has been on sale on Steam for $5 plenty of times in the past (just last week too, I believe), thus not having an initial discount on GOG isn't very competitive. I don't know how many sales GOG can expect because of no initial discount.

Maighstir: Find a second-hand copy.

omega64: Or just download the Legacy version as Venita just stated I guess.
no need to download anything more, after install you will have two shortcuts in Start Menu and/or Galaxy

Siegor: There are several clans divided into 2 sects: the Camarilla that tries to uphold the Masquerade and the Sabbat who think they should rule mortals.
You forgot the neutrals, which don't really care for sect politics, but do have a clan goal they are working towards. Depending on circumstances, you may find them leaning towards either of the 2 sects, or opposing both at the same time. But I don't recall them in the game that much.

Oh, interesting.
Well done.
THANKS, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! BLESS YOU, BLESS YOU, BLESS YOU!

You made my night tonight, many CHEERS! My most anticipated title ever, is FINALLY on GOG! You guys GOG AND ROCK! I always knew i should NEVER buy it on Steam and keep believing into our GOG pals! Patience. Is. Always. REWARDED! THANKS!

Just in time and not a moment too soon, either! The perfect compensation for the eyesores of Beamdog i refunded recently! This is the sweetest COMPENSATION i have ever received, for having the bad idea to purchase garbage for my exquisite game collection, before (beamdog=trash).

It FULLY deserves its price and even if it was more expensive, i would INSTABUY, still!

The night is still young! Now for another playthrough... "Every time you mention Bloodlines, someone will reinstall it"!

Oh and just to be sure, was there ever any problems with this game being censored in Germany? I hate censorship.
Finally. A new Activision release after only 1300 days. Hope we don't have to wait another 1300 days for the next one.

From what I recall, a little lack of blood in the intro, and the camera pointing elsewhere during a beheading. Let me see if I can find a more detailed listing.

Edit: Here.

He forgot many more than that. Like the Inconnu, who are secluded and seek the secret of Golconda (to return mortal life into an immortal vampire).
Great to have this game here.

I already own the original disc version so I'll hold off for a sale.
IS ALIVE!!!
