25% discount? Hmm... need to think about if that is enough to make me clear the last game from my wishlist.
Why it's not possible to just buy the DLC for owners of the base version? It is 4,99€ on Steam. Is it GOG's or developer's decision? Just curious.

Presumably the Upgrade is the better deal in the long run, since it should include all forthcoming DLC. But that assumes there is more DLC to come, and that it's something all players will want.

Not that I was interested in this title to begin with, but this man speaks the thruth... GOG probably needs to work on its infrastructure.

Yes, it's pretty strange to release a DLC you can't buy :).

Regarding the game, I'm really enjoying it as a Settlers 2 fan. It's a mixture of Settlers 2 and Cultures, but closer to Settlers 2 imho. It's not as great as Settlers 2, it has it's weaknesses for sure so overall it's a good not a great game. But it's the first game in 15 years which can give me the Settlers 2 feeling again, so it's worth it :). And the DLC solved the long term motivation and missing endgame challange issue.

I'd say mostly GOG's, for various reasons. It's like that for all DLCs for any game on GOG. GOG and Steam versions are often different, updates are not synchronized, thus compatibility of DLCs isn't ensured and additionally GOG support couldn't help in case you're using the Steam base game. Of course there's also a marketing and pricing strategy for base game and DLCs. Allowing DLCs from here to work with Steam would destroy calculations, etc.

There's a misunderstanding here. His question isn't about mixing purchases from Steam and GOG, but rather why GOG doesn't sell the DLC by itself while Steam does.
Where do I find the DLC? I have the correct version of the game, but I don't see it listed when I check my Library?

If you own the Two-Horned Helmet Edition on GOG, the DLC is found in your library in the Valhalla Hills box, under "Sands of the Damned DLC & Two-Horned Helmet In-Game Items".

If you do not own the Two-Horned Helmet Edition on GOG, you can't get the DLC without upgrading.

Everything's the same except for the lack of the DLC bit.

That's probably true in the long run (atm).... but they offered two options for the Witcher 3 expansion...

One with the 2 DLCs , one with the DLC already out.

So denying one option for this game, it's quite strange.
