Cocktails and dystopian tales

VA-11 Hall-A, a bar frequented by the most intriguing patrons of dystopian Glitch City, is open now for Windows, Mac, and Linux DRM-free on GOG.com.

Everyday life is controlled by an oppressive regime, hope is fading, and personal liberty is an unattainable commodity. People need someone to share their burdens with and who better than the bartender of a downtown joint that attracts the most diverse, colorful clientele? You are that bartender and these are your people. Mix them their favorite drink, offer a sympathetic ear, and watch their stories unfold. Every drink you prepare might stir the narrative a different way and change the lives of your customers. All you need to do is help loosen their tongue and lighten their mood - then all their secrets will be yours.

Keep the drinks and the story flowing as you tend to the distressed partons of the VA-11 Hall-A bar, available now DRM-free on GOG.com.

Looks very fun and tempting with art right into my alley but since no discount and summer sale washed out my money literally in last minute, that lands on my wishlist. ;P
I am fully and completely entranced by this game... I have never once ever wanted to play a game like this... but, talking brains... android cat people... im so DOWN for this!

Grargar: All I see there is the Prologue OST and no mention of a full OST. Since the Prologue is currently not included in either Steam or GOG, I'm not surprised as to why it's not included in either store. Maybe it will change when the Prologue eventually arrives.

ZaineH: There is always bandcamp.
Really no need for this or a seperate OST download. All the game music is right there in *.ogg format in the install folder.

Just go to *instalDir*\VA-11 Hall-A - Cyberpunk Bartender Action\sounds\music
Every track is right there.

It's fucking great!

Seriously one of the best games to play at night that I've ever come across.

XYCat: Is this game anything like Last call? The bartender game where you were doing actual real life recipes for drinks

and this is the wishlist link https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/last_call
I thought I was the only person who ever played that!

I still have my Last Call disc somewhere :D
I thought it was pretty fun, and all the drinks were real life drinks :D

J_Darnley: Don't be too hard on the poor guy. Poe's Law makes things very hard these days.

Shendue: Nay, I disagree, it was pretty obvious. Actual SJWs aren't polite. Like, at all.
OBJECTION!
Only the Sith deal in absolutes.

Anyway, the game looks promising, but I already fill up my quota for the summer. Not that I cannot afford to buy it, but when to play?? So many games...

I will grant that Ogg is a good royalty free format. However, a separate download in other formats is beneficial in a few ways. Ogg is not supported everywhere the way MP3 is. It is a minor annoyance at best as the audio can be re-encoded. For those that want lossless audio, the game's audio files aren't an option though. It's possible to have FLAC in an Ogg container, but it's generally Vorbis.

In short, you can't please everyone. From experience, a separate high quality download helps though.

I'd argue the biggest benefit to buying the soundtrack would be the encouragement of more endeavors like this.
Didn`t paid much attention to this since I`m not interested in games without any real gameplay, however now I hear that this is actually a thinly veiled device for airing various 4chan grievances. How pathetic :)

The Siths are boyscouts compared to SJWs.
