Releasing early, eh? Sneaky bastards. :P
Probably will buy this in the near future. I would like to see a city builder with a mafia setting.
I'm going to be honest. This looks like someone took a long look at CivCity Rome, SimCity, Banished, and Caesar.

Then they decided that rather than keep all the fun parts of each of those, that they would instead take a page from such thrills as checking carefully over forms in Papers, Please, the absolute excitement of the Democracy series, and the amazing macromanagement of MOO3, plus a little bit of the UNIVERSE SPANNING spreadsheets of Eve Online.

If I ever get the urge to do virtual taxes and budgets, then I'll consider this title.
Does it really say "Be a Mayor Player" in the trailer?

Hope that's supposed to be a pun :D

It's also the game's subtitle/slogan, so yes:

It definitely was. (Especially since I'm pretty sure they've used it in other promotional material for the game.)
It's not a particularly clever one, though. :)
EDIT: Goddammit, Grargar.

Fairfox: Should 'Restaurant Empire' evah be remade (or a successor arrives) it needs to use teh slogan too but drop teh 'r'.
But "Be a Mayor Playe" doesn't make any sense.
I can't wait for the DLC:

This is a game that really got me interested back when it was announced! I hope it's as good as I hope it is.

You shouldn't buy it until you do.
