One tank army.

Uprising: Join or Die, an action/RTS where you command the most advanced vehicle in the galaxy, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 25% launch discount.

An alien force strikes the colonized planet Albion in full force. Earth responds by forming a strong military organization that goes after the extraterrestrial aggressors. At least, that's what the army wants you to believe.

Now a power hungry general has usurped and repurposed the terran government, presently known as the Imperium. But the rebels managed to steal the Wraith, a cutting edge combat vehicle which might turn the tide of this civil war, and have trusted you with it. Through your first-person perspective you can allocate resources, claim strategic points on the map, call down buildings, and form entire bases while you seek out and destroy those of the enemy. In Uprising: Join or Die you must act both as a strategic planner and as the spearhead of the rebel forces, wreaking havoc with your upgradeable and conveniently versatile super-vehicle. It seems like an almost unfair advantage but hey, if they didn't know how to fight it, they shouldn't have built it in the first place.

Join the resistance as both a commander and an agent of destruction in Uprising: Join or Die, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 25% launch discount will last until March 24, 1:59 PM GMT.

guppy44: 3DO games bring back sweet memories. Do you know which titles "are" coming? :)
These: http://retroism.com/join-die-classic-cyclone-studios3do-uprising-games-go-digital
Interesting. I've played but only barely, I think I'll get it. [url=https://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/killing-time]Killing Time looks interesting, anyone played that?
HG 101 did.

IronArcturus: Has anyone tried Uprising on Win7 64-bit? How well does it run on that?
Running smoothly here.
At the beginning setting the graphics to max caused the game to crash. Nevertheless I didn't experience that later on when I just tried these settings again, so maybe it was just bad luck.

@GOG: Thanks you so much for this game, guys! :)
Nice, waiting for Requiem coming here.

Do you have to use any specific video/resolution settings to get it to work? Does it only have nGlide mode?

MIKEWRX: - Hostile Waters (easier to find these days because is available as digital download)
I know I responded to you once before, but this was bugging me so I checked it out. I'm pretty sure this game is already here, so you might not have to wait very long ;)

Is this the game game you meant?

Worked fine for me with standard settings and sky turned on without any adjustment of the resolution in Windows, so the game is running (stretched) full screen.
So far I don't know about other modes.
I bought this as soon as I saw it because I can't get this or the sequel to run on my laptop. Running Uprising X on my PS3 is fun but not the same. If I can save the money I'll do the same when 2 comes out.
wow, can't await the release of the sequel. nice played gog
Looks like a genre I would utterly suck at. Maybe give it a shot after a while, to see if there are any updates to help with the previously mentioned problem.
YAY. Finally some old games !!! Yes please more more :)

I wish "Ripper" and "Creature Shock" would come to GoG.
Great Release, Thanks Gog! Please more of those Good OLD Games!

MIKEWRX: This game, part of a rare breed of RTS/1st person games of the late nineties, is exactly the kind that fits perfectly in GOG's catalog. A few other gems in this lost category: that should be brought back on GOG:
- Hostile Waters
Hostile Waters is already here. And you forgot to mention Ultrabots.

rampancy: Well, someone's got to ask this eventually: any word on WINE compatibility?
I tried it in crossover briefly, and it worked just fine. Of course, this is no guarantee and ymmv.
