A-taaaaaank!

Uprising 2: Lead and Destroy, the continuation of your action/RTS heroics inside the prototype super-tank, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 25% launch discount.

When you snatched a powerful super-weapon from the greedy clutches of the Imperium and turned it against them, you forever changed the course of this civil war. But there is a bigger conflict going on, one that also involves the threat of the menacing Kri'iSara. Pitted against the advancing alien hordes, you will once again pilot the command tank Wraith and try to push them back. Cut through their numbers by engaging them directly or use your vehicle's versatile features to set up bases, harvest energy, and call down military units to aid you in the thick of battle.

Rewrite the terms of engagement and unleash your super-tank's fury in Uprising 2: Lead and Destroy, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 25% discount will last until May 19, 12:59 PM UTC.

TodaysLoneWolf: This one looks pretty good; out of the 100+ GOG games that I have spanning Windows and Mac what I'm missing is a good, fast-paced flying shooter. I've never tried the Uprising series but looking at my wishlist I have UR1 bookmarked but not purchased. I'll purchase both UR1+2 this weekend and spend the weekend on my VM.
Have you tried the Incoming series from Rage Software? At least the first game pretty much runs out of the box in WINE.

Matruchus: I wonder if gog could get Nemesis of the Roman Empire that is available at Retroisms website. Its a continuation of Celtic Kings: Rage of War.
Would love to play that once more!
So how does this game compare to the first one?

Grargar: It's still Activision. Entries on the GOG catalog for Caesar IV, Gun, Timeshift (all games published by Activision) were unearthed by SCPM, so it does look like Activision is back, albeit with sporadic releases. Singularity was also unearthed by mike_cesara.
I'm still waiting for Caesar II. =P

I'm waiting for SWAT 4 and Emperor Middle Kingdom. But because it makes their lawyers have to go pee-pee, we'll probably not see those. :P
You know it's game from the '90s when it touts "Ultra weapons, cool explosions" as some of the main features. ;)

Wow, it would be great to see both Gun and Singularity on GOG!

nightcraw1er.488: Meh.

Sound like a fecking goat nowadays, can we have a decent release at some point!
Quiet you.

Silverhawk170485: Looks like Battlezone.
I'm wondering when Battlezone Redux will arrive here. :/
At some point I would imagine, since SCPM found an entry for it in the API I would proably say a release is at some point this year, maybe, hopefully, probably, pray to the 4 gods of GOG.

Sorry, but I doubt he'll come. He was assassinated by Brutus II and Cassius II.

vicklemos: Wanna see how will they handle the Battletanx port.
I mean, 4 dudes split screen co-op on that sweet htpc? Whoa...
I'd bet an emulated version. As for what emulator they will use and who will be handling the emulator, that's a good question.

Has anyone tried Uprising 2 on Windows 7 yet? Does it have a windowed mode?
It's nice to see another Retroism release after some time. Wishlisted for now.
WOW WOW just WOW!

i waited so many years for this game to be released on gog! really hope that gog made it work on modern pc's without all the glitches and problems. it also lacks the german language version so far.

anyone played the gog version already? does the music work?

We wouldn't have released it if the music did not work :)
