I feel like this game's color tone is just a few years too late. It actually puts me off a bit.

Conceptually it seems a less impressive (and possibly unintentional) rip off of this Amiga game from 1991.

Bonus points I guess for not including the phrase "inspired by Dark Souls" in store page blurb. Guess the devs assumed people would be smart enough to figure that out on their own.

A minimalistic 2D Dark Souls clone, basically? Seems like they got the basic style and atmosphere down, but maybe they overdid it with the minimalism. I can hardly tell what's going on in some of these screenshots, due to the low res and lack of colors.

This is interesting: "UNWORTHY is a hardcore combat-focused metroidvania without jumping." Lack of jumping and gameplay sections based on that could make it stand out from similar side-scrollers.

On the topic of 2D Dark Souls clones -- GOG, why u no sell Salt & Sanctuary?! Seems like that game has a lot more to offer, at a similar price point.

Huh? Isn't jumping on top of platforms (or trying to figure a way to do it) half the fun in these games?

Hey, that Amiga game looks really cool! When you consider the age of those games, and the fact that the devs back then had much more limited tools and hardware power, it puts many modern Indie devs to shame.

I like the way it looks. I love everything about how it looks.

I like the art style but I suspect I would have difficulty telling the difference between my character and the enemies in the heat of combat. I'll give this a pass but it's good to see it here.

I already spent my Metroidvania funds on Catmaze a few days ago.
