Underrail: Expedition is now available DRM-free.

Take a break from the usual metro-crawling to take a boat to the infamous Black Sea. There, among the ruins of an age long past, you’ll face the vicious fauna, hostile natives, cunning pirates, and something far more sinister than all of those. Your voyage through vastness of the Black Sea will shed new light on the history of the world of Underrail and the forces that shaped it.
looking good, great music in trailer too
Fantastic, been looking forward to new content in this game.
I can't wait to get back into this game.

Hype!

The new version was supposed to add achievements no? Might be time to try and finish the Deep Caverns.
It's been in development for so long I almost expected it to become standalone.

Aye good to see it's finally here.
An expansion for real Fallout is out, after slight derail.
Now inspired by Waterworld.
And with shotguns.
Pretty cheap too...
5.4 GB-s? That's more than original the game...

Yay, at last, that's a good price to boot......and bought.
Stygian criminally underselling themselves, again.
They must hate money.

I am very happy that Stygian Software did not make Underrail's expansion pack to be a standalone expansion pack.

I hate very much when video game developers make expansion packs for video games and make those expansion packs standalone expansion packs for those video games.

I love having the base video game being required to be purchased and then to purchase the expansion pack to play for the video game.

I hate how Bethesda Softworks and Machine Games did it for Wolfenstien: The New Order sold Wolfenstein: The Old Blood as a standalone expansion pack.

What other video games are there that have their expansion packs sold as standalone?

Higher pricepoint does not equal higher revenue.
high rated
Honestly thinking about suggesting the gamepricing to be somewhat like what Bandcamp is doing.

Gamesale, sure, you can choose to pay the lowest amount, and that's fine. But if you want to support the game developer, here's an added "pay what you want" option, and it'll make your nickname blip by on the frontpage, with a message saying "this game was sold $x above askingprice by someone from country y"

Something like that.

Works for Bandcamp, the artists love it, the fans love it.. Direct feedback, direct contact with the real fans, lots of options to get back at your fans in a "hey, you paid more even though the game was on sale, as a thank-you we're mailing you a discount code for other games in our catalog" or "yo, you doubled the askingprice, we're giving you access to thebeta of our in-dev game"

Consider it the 2019 equivalent to sending in the card that came in the bigbox games.
