T-Rex cutlets is what's for dinner.

Turok, the remastered fast-paced jurrassic FPS, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com with a 20% launch discount.

Remember when dinosaurs were all the rage and aliens were still scary? Ah, yes, the 90s. What a magical time to be growing up. Imagine a jungle-like land populated with unfriendly aliens. Now throw in some aggressive flora for added inhospitality. Surely, dinosaurs are the next logical addition. No wait, make that dinosaurs with guns. All that's missing now is an angry Native American warrior of time-travelling heritage to clean up the mess and thwart a great evil in the process. There, pure 90s.

Thankfully, Turok is not in the habit of entering such exotic-but-hostile lands unprepared. Strapped across his back are all kinds of devastating weapons, from the not-so-humble bow and knife to handheld instruments of mass destruction like miniguns and rocket-launchers. Plus all the havoc they wreak now looks extra spiffy in this remastered version, thanks to widescreen and high resolutions support, improved level design and fancy lighting effects.

Bring an army of oversized reptiles closer to extinction as the legendary Turok, now DRM-free on GOG.com. The 20% launch discount will last until December 24, 17:59 PM GMT.
There is a Turok Remastered stream going on with the Night Dive devs on audio right now:

(about 1 hour and 10 minutes left).

Klumpen0815:
I like the extended draw distance, and the sound seems really big now, but for the price, I might just go and install the original which I own, to be honest.

jefequeso: No, that will never be a thing.

If every new GOG release is a shooter, I will be happy.
Still waiting on Chasm: The Rift?
Way, WAY too expensive.
The price would be OK with me if there was native Linux support. Fingers crossed for future developments.
The price isn't that good, but not bad for being remastered either. I would have expected $8-10 if it was a straight port on name alone.

Turok without all the fog might be weird.

Nice! Hoping that Seeds of Evil will follow too!

Vythonaut: Nice! Hoping that Seeds of Evil will follow too!
It will.
Huh, what to say. Well ... I am happy, that we see this title here on GOG. Thanks GOG and Night Dive Studios!

But the price is a bit step ... I would understand, if it would be 9.99 EUR. But 18.19 EUR?

Yeah, maybe, if it would be the HD remake, that is in making (or only in rumors):

Anyway, wishlist for now.

Does that mean, that we wil see the other Turok titles in the future aswell?
Looks at the calendar, hmm, no it is not the 1st of April. € 18, seriously...as much as I like Turok. On the wishlist it goes.

PS And the soundtrack would have been a nice addition as it is quite good in my opinion.

This is cool but a bit over priced for an older game.
if you release seeds of evil, maybe I would finally beat seeds of evil. honestly every damn level was like a maze.

Nice release - still it would be better if they'd include vanilla version (as they did in SS 1)

Impaler26: Too bad that Turok is way overpriced, i expected a base price of $9.99. I'll buy it one day when it's at least 75% off.
I agree. The price is way too much.
While there's no doubts that Turok was (and still is) a good game, the current price tag - even if this is "remastered" version and with launch discount - is WAAAAY to high. Sorry GOG, but this time my money will go elsewhere.
