It’s time to finish the hunt in the epic finale to the Turok Trilogy – Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered is now available on GOG straight from the hands of Nightdive Studios!

The title picks up immediately after the events of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, with dual protagonists Joseph and Danielle Fireseed, of the Turok family tree, as they battle the titular antagonist Oblivion and its followers, the Flesh Eaters.

This remastered version is a faithful restoration of the classic first-person shooter originally released in 2000 for the Nintendo 64, upgraded through Nightdive Studios’ proprietary KEX Engine for play on modern gaming devices with up to a 4K resolution at 120FPS. You can expect upgraded gameplay, high-resolution textures, enhanced lighting and rendering, as well as support for gamepads, and more!

Check out this absolute gem right now and enjoy an amazing classic FPS in its revitalized form!

CowboyLou: My guess is the $30 tag is to try and recoup some of the development costs for the latest KEX engine version.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if there were significant changes and improvements to levels and gameplay. Turok was a straight port, Turok 2 had some tweaks to certain levels and other improvements. I wouldn't be surprised if Turok 3 has even more extensive changes, since the original game had some big issues. If this is the case, $30 seems justified. Will wait and see.
I forgot Turok 3 had no PC version. Thank you for insight.
Cool!
Excellent, but I first have to play the older game(s) first. I only played the demo version of the second Turok game back in the time.

DuneRunner: At the current time of this post, Turok 3 doesn't show up properly in the GOG Galaxy, it appears as an "Unknown Game" in the library. I assume this is due to it JUST being released but still
This. You also can't search for it in your library and of course achievments don't work either.
Cool, thanks NightDive, you deserve the support for bringing this game from oblivion without source code, so hats off to you and it is instabuiy, of course :)

Wonder if they would work on Turok: Rage Wars, It was a local multi player focused game so that may be a barrier.
Bought it immediately! I've been waiting years for this!

Side note: It would be cool if achievement support would be added to Turok 2 on GOG

Atreyu666: Maybe it gets a discount later. When Shadow of Mordor came out here, it was 20 € and I bought it. About an hour later it was reduced to 5 € :D

Syphon72: I hope so. Weren't the first two games $20, why is this one so much?
1 and 2 had a PC port, this one didn't. Also they apparently added a bunch of cut content back since the original was rushed. I realize it's significantly shorter than the other 2, and it's not the best in the series, but they did put a lot of work into it.

I have both previous title here without knowing nothing about them before. Really enjoyed both of them but still feels the first one is more enjoyable than the sequel.

Wishlisted, so that means I get it here in 5 more years if it get a 90% off probably

But at the same time MP is missing completely. The MP had bot supported back in the day.

Sadly. Also looks like some of the cheats from before are gone. I assume Gouard, Gasp, Pen and Ink, Credits, etc. There's only 15 including the warps. And they changed it so you don't enter animals anymore, they seem to unlock during play. Here I was hoping they would add "Dark City" back and maybe create a new one to fill the last menu slot.

I also wonder if I should interpret the lack of T3 multiplayer as maybe being a sign of Rage Wars being next. Both T2 and Rage Wars' multiplayer are better than T3's anyway.
The game has no MP? I will probably pass then, as I don't think the price can be justified when it's lacking an entire game mode. I was also strongly put off T2, due to MP only being available through Galaxy.
*chef's kiss*
Cool now we just need Turok Rage Wars and the fourth game.
