Trailblazers is now available DRM-free on GOG.com, 10% off until May 22th, 10am UTC.
Why go racing on your lonesome, brooding behind the wheel with your mean face on, when you can be exchanging smiles with your fellow drivers? Splash the road with color as you go and boost your team's speed while scoring extra style points. Play with up to 4 friends in local split-screen mode or 3vs3 online, across all available platforms (yes, even Nintendo Switch!).

Note: The game requires a controller in order to play.

victorchopin: A racing game is always welcomed! Great to see this here!! :)
Thanks GOG and devs!
Its based on a old game, i read the name Trailblazers and suddenly: Deja Vu ....
name sounded very familiar, so Googled for it and voila its and old game... seems this is a 2018 version , thats why the listprice is a litte expensive 19.99 would be sufficient, preferably 14.99 cause the idea is old, its only lots of improvements its like reinventing the wheel which is redundant to do so cause improving is much cheaper.

I think i replied this already but somehow i cant find my post thats why i repost it, don't know what the exact text was but it is close to it.

Oh yes, the old C16 Trailblazer was a fun game for it's time! (also available on the C64)

Fairfox: supports even linux but not win 7
requires controller (even extra hi-lighted by gogie, but not win 7)

beyond retarded

Magnitus: As a safisfied Linux user, that's fine with me. If the ratings are good, I'll throw some money their way.

Anyways, won't Windows 7 reach end of life soon? I guess you'll either have to get a new computer or give Microsoft 100$-200$ to "upgrade" to Windows 10.

One could almost say those guys simply foresaw your future...
Mickeysoft is the one and only to blame .... they said they removed any 'code' inside the safety updates for the windows but.... who believes Mickeysoft after all they done ? i dont :D
So you wont know if they still try to make win7 stop earlier by putting win10 upgrade stuff in safety patches they release, to make win7 stop.

PaterAlf: It looks interesting, but I certainly won't switch to Win8/10 just to play it.
avatar
shmerl: You can switch to Linux which the game supports :)
avatar
Vythonaut: I endorse the above post. ;)

yup thats why 30 euros is way too much :D
Its like asking a guy if he would like to get 15 usd to clean your car and when properly done he will get his 15 dollars for the hard work...

The guy accepts your offer , makes a funny noise with his throat , then spits on the hood of the car ,clears it with his sleeve and says: "Job done :D ......30 bucks please :D
He wants his 30 usd for 'a job properly done" , when you promised 15 for a job welldone ...

You're joking, right? These two games have basically nothing to do with each other.

andreasmaureder: I just tested it... works perfect on Windows 7 x64!
Awesome! :)
i love the aesthetics of the cars, looks like a bit of fun but scratch that, no win7 (already?)

and really, I never would have noticed the win 7 exclusion if it wasnt mentioned here. it looks like an android game you swipe at so didnt think it would have super duper requirements/exclusions. the no keyboard is also insulting for a pc game, but i can understand, perhaps they didnt have a coder that could handle the port correctly and opted to just skip it rather than be flamed later on

*sigh

whatever, just gonna flat out skip it and not look back

I caved in and bougth the game. I can confirm that it works on Windows 7 and with a Xbox 360 gamepad. Had some small issue with the game not displaying correctly, only had to reduce the resolution down to fix it.

I'm surprised nobody has yet contrived a convoluted reason why lack of controller support = DRM.

It's HRM = HW rights management ... :)

About win7 - I guess it's just "not supported", because it probably doesn't work on some configurations properly... = i.e. you can try and it may work.

who knows, who cares, as the linux guys above, I can just recommend to finally switch to modern OS, microsoft is now in the same position as Amiga, the win10 are basically game-launcher, nothing more.

Too expensive for me .

darthspudius: Ha! Win 10 for the win. If only people would stop being paranoid and actually use that system, they'd see how much better than Win 7 it is.
As many others in this thread, I use Windows 7 myself and Windows 10 at work. Windows 7 is superior by far while Windows 10 is a mess which also cuts into my rights as a user.

Is the framerate locked? The trailer looks skippy. I'll wait for a discount but nice 90s vibe with modernized graphics lalala
The painting gimmick looks like it'd be an annoying distraction... I just want a decent arcade racer without stupid shit.

Not that it matters, no official Win 7 support, even though it's fine with Win 8?, that is some lazy bullshit right there... and that's to say nothing of the lack of keyboard control. What a terrible developer.
