Trailblazers is now available DRM-free on GOG.com, 10% off until May 22th, 10am UTC.
Why go racing on your lonesome, brooding behind the wheel with your mean face on, when you can be exchanging smiles with your fellow drivers? Splash the road with color as you go and boost your team's speed while scoring extra style points. Play with up to 4 friends in local split-screen mode or 3vs3 online, across all available platforms (yes, even Nintendo Switch!).

Note: The game requires a controller in order to play.
"no keyboard or mouse support"

Good joke. For a second I thought you were really going to charge money for th- oh. Does it run on Unity too? That seems to be a running theme with lazy hack developers. Please make sure you write some condescending justification as to why you didn't bother doing your job too, the classic "our game was really built with a controller in mind" is a good one, might as well go with that. Christ, did you type out the game's code using an xbox 360 controller with on-screen keyboard?

Don't ever mention the fact that even hardcore racing sims support keyboard either, your game clearly is just too advanced. Again.

P.S. For reference, this image is what I mean by "again"

I'm not saying anyone should chance the purchase, but do we know the game won't work on Windows 7? Could the listed requirement be the developer choosing not to officially support an OS at the end of it's support cycle rather than actual incompatibility? Are there any technical reasons this game wouldn't function on Windows 7?

Unfortunately, I don't have a Windows 7 machine readily available to test it.

darthspudius: Ha! Win 10 for the win. If only people would stop being paranoid and actually use that system, they'd see how much better than Win 7 it is.
I'm not saying this is true for everybody, but I have Win 7 Ultimate at home since spring 2014, and during that time they crashed on me about 3 or 4 times. I have Win 10 at work, and the system freezes completely about two times a week. No idea why, might be a configuration issue or whatever - I'm not an IT specialist - but as long as this keeps happening, I'm not keen on "upgrading" at home.
So it supports Linux but not Windows 7? Is there a reason why Win7 was skipped? It's still a popular OS.

I figured maybe it was DX12 only or something on windows, but it seems to be running DX11 from what I've read elsewhere. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work on 7 despite the lack of support, which is even dumber.

Plus, the game apparently doesn't have keyboard support. So how is it a "computer" game? It looks like it was directly ported from a console.
I just tested it... works perfect on Windows 7 x64!

Evixios: Damn this is such a bummer. The game looks amazing but not having keyboard support is just a big No-No. Its PC for a reason, not a console... Besides, how hard is it to map some keyboard keys? You can still claim to have a better experience with a controller, but at least people have the choice. Besides, it's not like cross-play with consoles is going to give you any advantage playing with a keyboard, thus unfortunately I have to conclude lazy dev'ing until proven wrong.

GOG please, let the devs know this is not acceptable, specifically on a PC-release.

I refuse to buy this until this core functionality is added to a PC game..
I agree with you on the bummer part ....
and maybe the answer to how hard would it be to add keyboard controls , you might be suprised how hard it would be, cause many devs seem to just love good old gamepad.

A gamepad as only ways of controlling a PC game is a big no no because as far as i remember the first PC didnt have any gamepads so what are devs doing nowadays ?
besides that listprice is a little high : almost 30 EU for a 'new' version of a classic is a lot, especially because its not a new game... its based on an existing game, it's like reinventing the wheel and 'add/improve some things ( lots of eyecandy)

I also read direct x 12 ? let me guess : win awful 10 i assume ?:D wrong wrong ... ( win 10 is awful).
It's like Wipeout HD meets Splatoon with retro future style cars ;D

What a combo!

PaterAlf: It looks interesting, but I certainly won't switch to Win8/10 just to play it.
You can switch to Linux which the game supports :)

GOG.com: Note: The game requires a controller in order to play.
So, I can assume my DirectInput controller will work, right? It is a controller after all. It has 2 thumb sticks, 12 buttons, a D-pad. The input method doesn't matter at all, right?

Because win7 is ++++++ and gone to heaven according to Mickeysoft ( yup Mickeysoft because thats what they are called when they ... a lot of good things to make them worse) sometimes also called: Windblows instead of Windows, or Windoze. (urban dictionary explains it)

Mickeysoft is also cause of no support for older Windoze , no support for new hardware so in a way Mickeysoft is the one that tells what 'sells' apparently evil windoze 10 will live forever cause they intend and claim they will keep it and improve it... so stuck forever with the most horrible windows OS that doesnt run many old games (even has problems with new games) , and loves to play ET ( phones home 24/7 ...).

I have both and Win 10 sucks. My Win 7 machine is a beast and my gaming rig, but my Win 10 machine - which has the bamboo pen and everything - is not nearly as good. Sure it is better than Win 8 - but what isn't?

I would have picked this up, but no Win 7 is a deal breaker.

Win XP 32 bits is even far better then win 8x :D (if we forget it is no secure anylonger ( caused by evil Mickeysoft)
Mickeysoft are little children and when they have a new toy everyone has to play with the same toys thats the way it goes or nothing goes....problem is hardware will +++ and basically software could continue long time ( just dont go online)
but it needs hardware which wont be made anylonger cause it will only win 10 compatible :D
"courtesy" of Mickeysoft ....
