Adventure gaming meets Roger Rabbit.

Toonstruck, the adventure game take on Who Framed Roger Rabbit, is now available DRM-free for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux on GOG.com!

You're Drew Blanc (Christopher Lloyd) - you're an artist, the cartoon kind. But you're also kind of at your wits' end. Your inspiration is gone and you've unfortunately been living up to your name, that's until something-or-other causes you to get sucked into a cartoon world in need of a champion. Toonstruck is a classic point and click adventure with the spirit of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It's real-world footage in a finely animated, saturday-morning cartoon universe that gets a bit too silly - a little too grown-up, a little dangerous.

Get pulled straight into an adventure across a beautifully animated cartoon world, Toonstruck is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com!

Smannesman: I wish this one came with a 20-50% launch discount, I want it but I can't really afford it right now.
I do love me some Doc Brown though...
Funny, I just watched One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest again the other night, so for right now, he's Taber to me...
This is amazing.
Nearly lost hope that this gem would ever get a digital release. Thanks.

JudasIscariot: Nope, it has to be GOOD too :)

(Yes, I know we have some that are....questionable, at best, but they have their place or they are part of a series for the completionists :P)

Klumpen0815: Daikatana *cough*
Exactly the game I had in mind when I wrote my disclaimer :P

Wow I actually did not know that.
I watched that movie with my dad when I was way too young and I've never watched it again due to the trauma it caused ;)
It makes sense I suppose, he does usually play eccentric types.
Wow,,,, another "dream game" is in my reach. I must go cry a little bit, sorry.
THX GOG
Alright, let's be more specific. Get more Activision stuff, GOG.

I heard a lot of bad things about it so... it deserves a place here imho. I mean, who wouldn't want to own the worst game ever produced? :-P

Oh, you have LJN's masterpieces?
How do you like Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde for the NES, now that you mentioned it? :D

He was more antagonistic than eccentric or crazy in the film. As is the theme of the story, he belonged in a mental institution about as much as a lot of us do... Good flick, but yeah, I can see how the ending could have quite an affect on a younger viewer.

No I don't, are they that bad? :-P

And Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde looks....interesting! :-P
Awesome news. I remember seeing this on the shelves, but I passed it up because of the creepy North American boxart. I didn't read reviews until years later, when it was no longer available, and I've always regretted not giving it a chance.

Now I get the chance to make up for it. No more regrets. Thanks GOG.com. :)

Fever_Discordia: Actually looking at the list here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virgin_Interactive
There's not a whole lot that's not either trash or has already turned up from another source, especially if you discount anything that says '(Europe Only)' as that's going to be a regional distribution dealy
EXCEPT ooh, ooh Floor 13!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floor_13_(video_game)
I've heard good things about that one...

Grargar: Cyberia 2?
avatar
Fever_Discordia: LOL yeah, I guess!
Probably be the bookie's favorite anyway...
That list is either inaccurate or there's two divisions. At least one game was published by Virgin Games that I'd consider a gem: KGB.

Holy shit! Toonstruck is absolutely brilliant.
GOG still manages to surprise me constantly.

However, a word of warning to any colourblind people: Toonstruck hates you. With a passion.
