Titan Station, a mysterious, story-rich sci-fi game, is out now with a -20% launch discount! The offer lasts until January 2nd, 11 PM UTC.

Titan Station will take you back to the future; quite literally, with its retro-style futuristic tech. The year is 1999, and as a main character, David, you take up a job as a systems operator on a space station. It was supposed to be an escape from day-to-day troubles; but it’ll turn out to be so much more, as you realise things in space are not quite the way you expected them to be.

Discover the Titan now, on GOG!
Why not ask me about Titan Station security protocols?
this could be good, like event[0], the station or tacoma. no info on how saving works, wishlisted for now. almost a month-long launch discount is weird, guess there's no point in re-listing it as part of the winter sale, like they tend to do on steam.
I've been in the mood for a space adventure after spending so much of my gaming time this year in Tamriel. :) Kudos to the dev who has already set up Q&A posts in the game's sub-forum.
Looks interesting.
Played this game last week : what a great narrative driven experience ! One of my GOTY so far ! Great atmosphere, nice thriller and a lot of plot twists !
Just play it, worth every minute !
Played this game a couple of weeks ago. If you like games like firewatch or gone home then this is great. The setting and design is very nice and the story is definately intriguing enough to keep you playing.
Definately worth the price

Lt. Vollinger what about the Titan Station security protocols?
I think this could be a good game if there's enough to do.
Some gameplay shows a constantly activated targeting dot. Can that be turned off? Should only show up during fights or when being near something to activate. Breaks immersion...

Hey!

I will see if I can add and option to disable it in next patch.
It would hide the dot but keep the rest of the interact-icons.

I would appreciate that too! Preferably with an additonal option for a toggable HUD.
There a many UE games with this annoying non-toggable center dot, is this the standard when developing in this engine or why is this so commonplace?

Btw, thanks you for your active work on these forums!

Hey!

Alright!
By toggable hud, you mean like a keybind for it or is it ok if it´s just in the settings menu?

I think the only hud I have is the "objective text" in the top left corner and icon for looking at things.
There is some hud that is required, ie for choosing passwords or dialogue options that´s needed for gameplay.
The looking at thing icon-hud, it should still be there right? So when looking at something you can interact with an icon appears, or would you want to be able to disable that aswell?

I think that in general it´s good to have a centerpoint in the screen, to make it easier to look at items and pick them up an such, but I get that not everyone wants or need that. I have just not heard anyone wanting to not have it. But it shouldnt be to hard to add a setting for disabling it.
I´ll have a look at it, hopefully tomorrow unless something comes up.

Thank´s for your input!

An option in the menu should be sufficient.

Imo the objectives visibility should be switchable via key (either by holding the key or as a seperate screen as is most(?) games). All other interactive elements as the hand icon and subtiltes are ok as they are.

I think that most non-shooter first person games don't show a (permanent) center dot. Even most shooters don't show a crosshair when no weapon is equipped. Subjectively, only the more recent and especially UE4 games offer that "feature". It doesn't add any usability when you already have a special icon (like your hand icon) that becomes visible, when you are near interactive elements.
As the previous poster wrote, it's mostly immersion breaking.

My suggestions in conclusion:
1. Menu option to disable center dot
2. Objectives only visible when pressing a key (e.g Tab)

Hey!

Just updated the game - added setting to disable centerdot in settings-general-Disable center dot.

Having the objective beeing toggable will require some more work.
