The biggest thing in RPG gets bigger.

<span class="bold">The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Hearts of Stone</span>, the first of two anticipated epic expansions, is available now with full GOG Galaxy support, DRM-free on GOG.com.

In the world of The Witcher, nearly everything that you do matters - once in a while you may just have to face the heavy consequences of even the briefest interactions.
A new contract awaits from the mysterious Merchant of Mirrors. Geralt of Rivia will take on the impossible: a quest to defeat one man cursed with the power of immortality - and he'll do so over 10 hours of new adventure with new characters, new monsters, new romances, plenty of whimsy, and a whole new storyline for him to shape. You'll see Geralt like you've never seen him before.

Check out IGN's review of the Hearts of Stone expansion, but watch out for spoilers!

HertogJan: Didn't preorder digital, so don't know about the library entry before the release. Now that it's been released, you can find it listed as DLC under the TW3 entry in your library.
Only 16 free dlc in the list.

lacleber: i bought the hearts of stone and gog dont want update to 1.10
I am passing on the DLC till the bugs in the game get fixed v1.10 is porked for me. I have uninstalled the game just too many problems, but others seem to be doing OK.

I will get all the DLC when the final version of the game is released. Till then I hope Fallout 4 is less bugged.

Cheers MarkL

Hello,

i have some problems with some dialogs in german with "Heart of stone",
There is no sound only the dialog text. GOG is updating some files at the moment. We´ll see if that helps.

Anyone similar difficulties?

Try going to:

More - Configure

and choose "manually" on your "install updates" choice. Change back to "automatically" and your game should be updated with a ~2 GB patch, and the DLC "Hearts of Stone" should appear in your "DLCs installed" option. (Note: this method applies to the GOG Galaxy one)

You can download the game from GOG, install it and just play: play it offline; play it without logging to Galaxy, without logging to Steam, Origin, etc. The game executable and library files don't even have an 'anti-piracy' software implemented into it

So, I have to ask "what does "DRM-free" means to you?"
My problem with no access to Heart of Stone while having the game with expansion pass was solved with the help of support. I had to again redeem my code and then use VERIFY / REPAIR function (MORE > MANAGE >). I hope this info will be helpful for others :)

Oh, there's little doubt that the GOG version is DRM-free, and that I can download a DRM-free version with the GOG code in the box, but I don't buy full-priced digital games. I'm looking to the physical version, and I've held back on the PS4 version to date because CDPR assured that future pressings would not have the online release date check.

If the physical version of a game is bound to Steam, Origin or UPlay, I won't think twice about skipping the PC version for a €5 sale and getting the console version instead.

Is it because of bad Internet connection? When buying physical releases, the bulk of that money goes to retailer, in contrast with digital sale when developers get more. So to support developers - it's better to buy digitally. Plus regional pricing exist only because of physical retailers.

I prefer buying games physically. Very few games come to Turkey and I believe buying games physically will encourage other games to come here as well. Also, I love holding games in my hand. Like Witcher 3's map forexample.
IGN eh?
How much did your cdprojekt brethren have to pay them for that review score? IGN are well known for taking bribes, so their review scores are meaningless.
Hey All,

Sooo...any of you facing 'Server Problem:Retry' issue preventing you from installing hearts of stone?
