Blood and Wine was awesome! Anyone know if CDPR will be making any more content for the witcher 3?

I believe they've stated that Blood and Wine would be the end of new content. I imagine development of Cyberpunk 2077 is ramping up, the standalone version of Gwent will be entering its beta phase soon, and they probably have other irons in the fire, too.

No, the witcher is done:

Never say never ... it's time to take a break and a really longer break from the Witcher series ... when we'll be ready if there will be anything we'll talk about it, but right now we've promised Cyberpunk from 2012 so it's about time to show something and that's the full focus of our studio ... we're saying goodbye to our biggest franchise and we are starting on a new road
Damn. Thanks guys.

That new gwent game they're doing looks fun!
witcher is over for good then? that fucking sucks god dammit. just sucks to see Geralt go. not even looking forward to cyberpunk, i'll probably try it but i don't like those types of games as much as witcher games.

They never said it is over for good, they said that they've been doing the Witcher for years and need a break from it at the moment and are working full time on Cyberpunk 2077, and at the moment do not have any explicit plans for future Witcher games. That does not translate into "there will never be another Witcher game". There's a difference between deciding not to do something and simply having not made a decision to do something yet.

They're completely engaged in Cyberpunk 2077 right now and that's all they want to focus on at the moment. Until that game is completely done and released and any expansions and addon content for it worked out they probably wont even be entertaining the idea of "what comes next for CDPR", and it may depend on how well CP2077 does also. Their next game could be Cyberpunk 2078, The Witcher 4, Gwent 2, GOGbear Goes to the Circus, or anything really. People want them to say "yeah, we're going to do a Witcher 4" or not, but the reality is that they're really saying "we have no plans currently but it can't be ruled out either, nobody knows what the future holds and we're not going to speculate about it right now and get anyone's hopes up or down".

They've said the TW3 would be Geralt's last as his story has been told.
They have indeed never said it would be the last Witcher game, nor did they say there would be another 1. They did say they spend a decade on Witcher games and felt it was time to take a break from that universe and work on something else.

Fairfox: Might act. buy Teh Witcher 3 next week when I gets faster internet; I was always put off by teh size. Then again I don't know if teh genre really appeals to me. Hmmm. Plus cost; probs go down with GOTY or whatevs teh heck they call their last version?
A quick search for the retail version in my country gave 3 results, the most expensive 1 costing the same as the main game here. I don't expect that to be much different in your country.
I'm guessing you can probably activate it here. Install it from disc, than check to see if you still need updates from here. It will save you a lot of download time and money.

Indeed.
The Witcher 3 is one of the best war games there's ever been (aka world of war craft)

If you're using Galaxy, go to the game's page, click on settings, then click on all of the DLC boxes.
I think this DLC makes the game whole. i wish i never played the main game first without this DLC because it just makes the game experience so much better.
anyways i hope CDPROJEKT makes a Withcer 4. 200+ hours of gameplay was really worth it. :)
