Hmmm....how about actually making it functional before bragging about its release? Debuting with technical errors isn't a good look. That's why I'll be avoiding it totally.
Oh nice. Really need to get a PC again so I can play with this.

My Witcher 3 install is 35 chars deep so I'm good as is, no rush on the fix...
For some reason it won't let me get it even though I own the complete edition :(

Same, it seems it has the "pure" Wild Hunt as its requirement (GOG sees them as two different games) so this key i had with the disks does not help me much here. Quite a shame.

GOG.com: Release: The Witcher 3 REDkit
I assume, this was added for free to every account with "The Witcher 3" in it?

That would explain two things:

1) why I got the "this order can only be gifted as it contains an item you already own" - message at checkout...

and

2) why I received an email from GOG today, thanking me for supporting GOG by purchasing from them, ending with: "other players who bought this game like these titles too!"

...without referring to what exactly "this game" is (my last purchase here on GOG was two months (?) ago).

Those garbage literal spam emails are really annoying. It's a trend that GOG shouldn't have joined. I've unsubscribed form any emails from other vendors that do that crap. I probably should GOG's too.

IF that email is related to the automated addition of the TW3_REDkit to my account (and everything points in that direction), I don't consider it spam mail.

Just as an email, that has not been clearly worded.

WTH GoG? auto-adding is not nice! I literally will never use this tools. And why does it had to be a new entry couldn't it be just under extras? No respect for library space, unbelievable.

As for CD Projekt, instead of making a new original game we're taking bethesda route are we? First no less than two re-release GOTY and "Complete edition", then the added DRM creation club ("My Rewards") and now milking your blockbuster game to no end, counting on moders to prolong its lifespan.

Cavalary: Nope
Well, then maybe it was automatically added to all accounts (with TW3 on them), which had it on their wishlist?
Because that was the case with me.

got past it, just mark it as a gift and send it to yourself and redeem it from the email!
Never asked for this, never wanted it (don't even like the Witcher games).

I will be contacting support to have this removed.

Apparently not automatically added to all accounts (according to Cavalary's post).
Did you have it on your wishlist?
Because I did.

Simply hide it.
