Little girl, little girl, don't lie to me...

The first two episodes of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, the next chapter in the soul-wrenching Walking Dead saga, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

It's not just survival that's becoming an increasingly demanding commodity in the world of The Walking Dead, but the struggle to retain one's humanity. Several years since the apocalypse hit, the living are starting to rebuild a semblance of civilized communities, giving shape to a new frontier. But the rotten human nature once again threatens to pull everything apart.

In Ties that bind Part 1 and 2, we meet Javier, a young man who witnessed his own family get consumed by this madness. He will soon cross paths with Clementine, a girl who's seen more than her fair share of tragedy but has managed to persevere for the sake of both herself and the child under her care. How far will the two youngsters manage to go before the world's cruelty or their own misguided choices bring them down?

Shape the stories of two disillusioned but determined young people, as they stand against the decaying world of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Note: This is the Season Pass, which gives you access to all 5 episodes as they become available.

No comments? Unusual.

I'll pop the thread by taking the opportunity to say that I appreciate Telltale bringing games here Day One and supporting GOG and DRM-free. Thanks!
I read that there are supposed to be 42 different paths. Whatever that means but I'm still looking forward to it. In my season 2 play-through Clementine is starting to become more pragmatic and bitter as she continually loses the people around her. As a result she acts like a scared little girl when it can be used to manipulate people while not really trusting anyone and looking out for herself. I hope I get dialogue choices that will allow me to keep up my own narrative.

Waiting for Freddi Fish 2 in a nutshell.
ttg... meh.

Not gonna care for a dev that doesn't care about its players... it's probably subpar anyway... I'll keep y fond memories of the first season... and of Life is Strange.

I Loved this game
boooooooooo!! not a single original idea from telltale games for years. overpriced pieces of junk. have been using an ancient game engine and a poor distribution system on mobile devices and their own store version. may be a bit harsh but every single word is true!

Season 2 was really good, can't wait to play this. I probably wait until episode 4 or 5 until I buy it.

good/bad.

more bad than good, though.

good: telltale are here day one. [that's the only good.]

bad: expect terrible support, samey stories and that clunker of an engine.

dear telltale: you can make your own stuff, you know.

[also: expect the game to stay overpriced for far too long.]

yawn. more walking dead? wake me when the snoozezobmbiefest is over.
Does it still do the unskippable "Last time on the Walking Dead" and "Next time on the Walking Dead" rubbish? I put up with it for two seasons and The Wolf Among Us but can't face it again. A mixture of spoilers and treating my like I am memory-deficient.
Can you guys PLEASE push the update to Season 2 so we can upload our saves to Telltale Cloud Servers?

Every other version of the game (Consoles, Steam) have been updated to be able to do this in order to use our saves in Season 3, except the GOG version.

lostwolfe: that clunker of an engine.
Actually, that's not the case. From pcgamer:
It certainly helps that Telltale’s new engine finally feels fit for purpose. While Batman still had its share of performance issues, there’s little to grumble about in Ties That Bind: everything runs that much smoother, with snappier transitions that give the action sequences a greater sense of urgency.
But sorry, sorry, didn't want to break the reflexive moaning chain. It's not like we want developers to still release their stuff on GOG next year. GOG should only sell The Witcher DLC.
No point in buying now, as usual. Will be 50% off before the last episode is out.
