Cyanosis: Makes me wonder if why it's taking a while to get this series on here is because GOG is busy working their magic to ensure it ALL gets on here at the same time.
That might be the first time GOG has ever released a game with more content than its competitors.
Woooow, unbelieavable! Thank you Night Dive and Gog!

Now, when will be get Powerslave/Exhumed? :p
Now we just need the rest of the Night Dive/Retroism old games (Classic War Pack etc) on Steam.

Powerslave is already getting a remaster/port and I believe it'll be free:

JudasIscariot: the original version is included.
I just wanted to add my voice saying 'awesome!" in the hopes of more of this sort of thing in the future.

It was completed and released for free for some time, but the original devs didn't like that and the creator pulled it off. You might just as well google search for it somewhere.. like I did. Shame this had to happen, the port is awesome.

Nope. Quake 2 on GOG comes preloaded with the Netpack 1: Extremities compilation, while Morrowind comes preloaded with its plugins. Sure, they are free, but they are still not included by default with the Steam versions.

So that's what all those options were. O_o

Hmm, I might have to hunt that up.

clarry: That seems to have been the case. AIUI, the developers originally did a no-Galaxy build but GOG wanted Galaxy integration and someone with the power to make decisions wanted to comply.

IAmSinistar: Thanks for the inside info! It makes sense from the viewpoint of GOG, but is unfortunate for those of us who care not a whit for Galaxy gubbins and who just want our games in a timely fashion. And I'm not so sure it makes a lot sense for GOG, if it ends up costing more sales than the platform drives.
I know what you mean, but I still had a chuckle at the idea of GOG users being particular about "timely" releases. ^_^

tinyE: Is the stealth stuff a super pain in the ass? :P Some games like Thief can be fun with stealth but then others like the Hitman games can be fantastically cruel.
It's not "hide behind pillars or in darkness" stealth; it's "I'm in disguise or have done nothing suspicious so I can wander freely and even talk to people until I do" stealth. There are also alarmed areas and robots that are unavoidable and never fooled, so you'll be forced back to the zappy bangy parts quickly enough.

So, not a pain at all, but only available in limited areas. It's more a nice gameplay addition, like the dialogue options and multiple endings, rather than a fully fleshed out mechanic.
