So which of these costume packs can make the preteen girl cover her unmentionables?

Probably in one of those shining porn baits. :D
Is this spam in the newly released games really necessary? :/
Well, I have trade requests out everywhere from the GOG forums to Facebook, I won a copy of this game last month but when it was delivered today it was a (despite being told before entering that I could get a GOG key if I won) Steam key...

Yeah, I don't do The Evil Empire of the Dread Lord GabeN, thank you very much.

And here, thanks to having won a copy, I didn't throw any money in my GOG wallet to cover the game when it released.

Hopefully I have a hit soon, this might be the first Falcom game ever (actually, I think Zwei took a few days, it released right before I got paid) to show up on GOG and not be in my library within the hour.

That DLC though...

I got a bundle of the first ToCS game via PSN (back when I assumed the whole series would be coming to Vita) with the DLC included, all of it was absolute useless cheat and cosmetic junk, so at least the DLCspolsion that accompanies a Legend of Heroes game can be completely ignored without actually missing out on anything worth having.

Cool
Disgusting amount of DLC
Is the Costumes DLC you get from owning one of the previous games different from the paid DLCs? Does it include all the costume DLCs? I'm not thrilled about all the DLCs but, as a completist, I'm willing to get them, I just need further clarification.

PaterAlf: Great game, but they can't be serious about the DLCs... o_O

I was about to ignore the whole game until I saw your comment. Whenever I see a lot of DLC, my immediate reaction is to assume they are very important for the game, and the only reason they're not included is to basically cripple the game and extract more money from me in a way that's so disagreeable, I tend to just ignore everything with lots of DLC until a later edition comes out with it all included.

As a capitalist pig myself, I don't have anything against DLC's because they motivate developers to keep working on their games. However, DLC's have a bad reputation that makes me prejudiced against them. That, and GOG has spoiled me with lots of games that have everything, including a lot of extras that are very appealing rewards for the most enthusiastic "collector" fans of the game.

As far as I can tell, the DLC for owning a Trails in the Sky game is a special Trails in the Sky Costume Pack for Trails of Cold Steel II. It's not available for purchase on its own at the moment.
Is this a decent snowboarding game?

I hope they come up with some kind of Gold Edition at some point with DLCs included, as that's when I'd possibly buy it. I couldn't even check right now what the different DLCs are about, the GOG game card cuts the description so that I just see a few dozen "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold ..." DLCs, with no idea what they actually are. I guess one could visit the game card for each DLC separately...

Also, if one buys the base game and all the DLC, does one need to install each and every DLC, one by one?

The first 6 are some cosmetic stuff in addition to the ones you can unlock ingame (costumes, accessoirs, Ridealongs and so on) the other 7 are basically Cheat items (it summens a shining pom enemy which gives you 1 lvl-up per figh, which is rather useless though I finished the Vita version on nightmare difficulty without even using the free ones which are probably already included in the PC version).

Oh. In that case I guess one could be fine with the base game only. Especially the "consumable baits" DLCs sounded quite odd.

I was expecting that at least the first DLC, costing 11.49€, would have contained some actual gaming content, like a new secret area to explore or new quests, but I guess not. That much money for mere costumes? Oh well, can skip...

Costumes, cosmetics and items that allow you to lure a creature that gives a lot of EXP.

Welcome to GOG.

How about the DLCs for the first game, same thing? E.g. one DLC description says:

- Zeram Capsule Pack
- Zeram Powder Pack
- Valuable Healing Items Pack
- Monstrous Ingredients Pack
- Handy Accessories Pack
- Sepith Pack

I have no idea what those are and whether they are meaningful to the (first) game.

Well, yeah. but normally there aren't dozen(s) of separate DLCs. The Witcher 3 had quite a lot at some point, but they had sense to come up with a GOTY edition later with everything included (free of charge if you had the original + DLCs already), and even in the original TW3 they had sense to combine 16 DLCs into one DLC pack later on, into one installer.

In this case though, maybe it is ok they are separate, as you wouldn't necessarily want to install all "cheat DLCs" by default.
