The way of the fist.

THE KING OF FIGHTERS '98 ULTIMATE MATCH FINAL EDITION and THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2002 UNLIMITED MATCH are now available, DRM-free on GOG.com. Get them separately for 50% off or grab them together 66% off. Offer lasts until June 8, 1pm UTC.
Two legendary fighting games to kick it old school! Expanded fighter rosters, more game modes, and -in the case of 2002 UNLIMITED MATCH- fully upgraded and redesigned system and game balance for all characters. Quite the combo.

... just to get your attention.
I'm definately in for that KoF 98 version. Thanks !
Some of us want the rest of SNK's games, NeoGeo and earlier.
Nice releases.

But, no KOF96 yet... :(
I should get 50% off that first 50% just for owning the first KoF '02.
Oh sweet jesus, these two games are the best editions for 98 and 2002. Played both of em on PS2. Both games make a change in the overall combat system and some new sprite replacements (Orochi Chris in 2002 UM for example), some 3D stages (2k2UM has 3D stages only) along with the ones from previous KOF games and more characters.

2k2 UM made some major changes for special moves and include newer ones.
Wait... I got that game for free.

2002 Unlimited Match is different from what was given away for free (an arcade emulated version of 2002). From what I'm seeing on the Steam page, Code Mystics was the developer of this port. Does that mean this actually works much better than all of those questionable Dot Emu ports? If so then hell yes, bring on the era of actually competent SNK ports!
I did not expect these versions to come out in GOG. What good news :)

I got them on that-unspoken-platform and they're far superior to those DotEmu ports. I haven't played the GOG version yet but they must be good. :)
Great seeing the games on GOG! Part of the cream of the crop for sure.
Maaaan!! I almost had an Heart Attack when I saw these games here. KOF 98 was one of the best games that I've played in my teen ages, and was, along with Pulstar, one of the Neo Geo games that consolidated my love for this console. GOG.com, you are Awesome!!
